    Ok, bought Mirrors Edge because I've been dieing to play it but didn't think I'd get around to it on PS3 and the recommendations on here.

    As for the length of the sale, I think this is the end isn't it? Steam forums are talking about their final list setups after the sales:

    Got Mirrors Edge and Riddick last night, been looking for Riddick ever since it came out, nowhere here ever stocked it...

    That's my boredom sorted for at least a few months now :D Now the question is which order to dl :lol:

    Picked up Mirrors Edge last night and had a little mess about. Really like the idea of the game but my PC doesn't like it much with FPS being real bad in certain places. Can't complain for £3 though.

    Haven't been a fan of buying from Steam because it has always been cheaper to buy elsewhere (esp. if you aren't in US it seems). But with local currency very strong against US$, and these specials, and Steam asking me to pay in US$, how could I say "no"?
    Purchased:
    GRID
    FC2 - Have completed it, but wanted my own copy. Agree with comments here, but is cheap enough not to matter IMO. Great game at that price.
    SW:KOTOR - Have been pondering a purchase for a while. Couldn't find it new, and have you seen the prices it has been going for used on eBay??!! SW fanboys or ??? :confused:
    L4D - Not a huge multiplayer fan so never saw the need, but at that price...
    Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Haven't played them, but looking forward to the EBB "Redux" bundled, which I've heard good things about. ADA, not so much.
    Evil Genius - Epic game, own it in hard copy, but the disk is flaky and liked the convenience of it on Steam.

    Having read what others said, and re-reading Joe's review, I went and bought Mirror's Edge as well. I was hoping to not spend more money, but in for a penny, in for a pound, right? Or US$4.99, anyway. If it sucks because I'm on ATI this generation with no Physx (which I think is over-rated PR nonsense), I'm blaming Joe and his review.


    As an aside, Windows just informed me via pop-up that I'm not activated. WTF? I'm not activated now, or haven't been for the last eight hours I've been booted in and doing stuff? Or is the mouse on a treadmill running this pile just a bit forgetful? Or bashful? :wallbash:

    Way to steal my data!
    I could have been downloading one of the games I just bought if I thought Valve were going to take it away.
