+1, I never hear about this game which really suprises me considering the amount of fun I had playing it.
The Hitman series?! It's long overdue, but I'm about to play through it all (yeah, because I'm weird like that) but I've heard that Blood Money is a lot of fun!
Honest to God, I haven't played it in over a year and I can still remember how incredible it was. Talk about a gameplay experience that stays with you.
I agree entirely with gavomatic, I have only played the demo of Bioshock and can already tell its a better game than MW2. Seriously grab a copy before i outstock amazon
Try Half-Life 2 if you haven't already. You could just get the Orange box and bask in your options of what to play.
Borderlands for the mindlessness! Woop! Still keeps you playing right up until the end boss....then there's the DLC which is still MOAR MINDLESSNESS!!! I mean come on, psycho midgets with shotguns!
Aw, hell yeah. Hitman Blood Money is definitely one of the best games, ever. Vampire: Bloodlines is also excellent, especially with the restored content in the new fan patches by Wesp.
well ladies (who are we kidding) and gentlemen. I'm now playing Vampire: Bloodlines again, and have order both bioshocks, bittech seemed to read my mind and come up with a mini blog about the game on que, so that's tipped it.
I finished it about 6 months ago. Everytime I see the icon still on my desktop I want to click it and play. I rarely ever even consider replaying a game I finished. Damn I wish the devs behind it didn't close up shop and there was a sequel coming.
I never played Portal when it was released... and only just grabbed it off Steam. It's brilliant LOL. It gets frustrating sometimes, but in a good way. If you like solving puzzles, and like 3D POV... you'll love it.
Is this deep or addictive? I found batman AA too be most addictive, and recently love playing COD world at war, which nobody really likes but me. Only problem with COD is it has got really childish, story in COD4 made me puke. Fallout 3, wonderful sandbox game, but can get boring as hell!
I second that, Half-Life 2 really pulls you into it. I also second the Total Annihilation but it's an older RTS which doesn't seem like the type of game you'd enjoy. Who knows though. it's definitely a great game and even if you don't like the game play.. there's always the music from Jeremy Soule that comes with it.
Bioshock, you already own it and it's a game where you have to have played it. Its for this reason which i have just bought Halo. I never played it, but feel i must to call myself a Gamer.
After the glowing reviews I've seen on this site quite recently, I've been meaning to give Vampire - Bloodlines a try. Anyone know of a cheap place to get it? Most retailers seem to either not sell it anymore or for as much as a new game!
no one mentioned oblivion? fantastic game and very deep, its first person although not a shooter. although you could always go archer ofc.
got bioshock up and running, windows 7 is not it's friend. the little girls are actually quite disturbing, but the game seems promising. Thanks for the other suggestions, but have played all the obvious ones (ie HL2...who hasn't? and why havn't they been neutered?)
