Damn skippy! Some people need to be reminded that bit-tech is a Modocracy (with just a smidge of listening to the will of the people)

Wait, so Fortune 500 companies are full of font Nazis?

And the grammar Nazis are clearly slacking - who is going to explain that more than one exclamation mark is superfluous?

    NSFW Audio.

Yes, I already posted this in the Videos of Awesome thread, but I empathise so much with his pain that I felt I had to repost it here.

The stats for completing the game should have included 'Amount of expletives used' lol.

What has been seen, cannot be unseen.

While we're on interesting product logos and stuff, Haribo is named after the guy who founded the company and where he lived; Hans Riegel of Bonn.

QUOTE=Jarga the Hutt;2363861]I stumbled across this thread about a month ago. I had never even heard of bit-tech before. But now I have read the entire thing, all 1000+ pages of it. It took me just over 44 days (I don’t have a job where I can just sit and surf the web, plus I lost internet for two weeks). While I was trying to catch up on this thread it grew 102 pages (I started at page 898). Since I found this site I have:
    • been confused by your obsession with cheesecake
    • been educated on relix
    • been horrified by she-who-is-not-to-be-posted.......and then amused
    • been bored to death by the “Yo Dawg” meme
    • learned that John is 6 minutes older than the universe
    • been disappointed by pictures that are no longer there
    • laughed so hard that I dropped my drink…multiple times
    • learned that your definition of NSFW and mine differ…a lot
    • learned that this is Patrick, not Sparta
    • learned that the above item will likely get me banned
    • gotten very tired of the Patrick/Sparta meme
    • been confused as to why page 400 of this thread trips my anti-virus protection......and none of the other pages do
    • learned that most of you cannot stand looking at pictures of other people’s injuries
    • learned that I will be corrected on my spelling........and my grammar........and probably my life.
    • made myself terribly late on submitting a resume because I spent two hours reading this thread
    • learned that I do not want to ride any of your horses
    • not surfed for porn since I found this website. (Think about that one for while.)
    • discovered that if I smash my head against the keyboard the result is hjyu7
    • learned that Legos is not a word.........and then decided I didn’t care
    • learned that May 17th is too be celebrated by dodging the banhammer
    • learned that dinosaurs can be really frakking sexy
    • learned that some of you have been deprived of the awesome taste of sloppy joes.
    • learned that you all have very strong beliefs about the proper way to use toilet paper
    • learned that most of you cannot stand looking at botflies and shopped pictures of larvae infecting people
    • discovered that watching a grown man concuss himself with a piece of plywood will make me giggle like a deranged hyena
    • learned that some of you are too young to remember what it was like during the early years of console gaming, or are fraking liars.......every real gamer used the konami code, at least once. Come on, own up. I bet you claim to not watch porn too
    • learned that my ninja name is apparently Zukirin Jikashirinkato

It highly demotivated me (so well done for that) realising that most of the above was something i was going to write on here a few weeks ago. So not only does the fact i procrastinate get rammed down my throat, but i also have the indignity of being a sloppy second. This compounded by the realisation that unlike Jarga, i cannot enhance any kudos by further posting something original, witty or demotivating other than this sad reflection.

Nonetheless i shall comment on his considered list with some inane thoughts of my own.
    1) i came across this list accidentally, started at the last page and worked backwards, then had to catch back up. Is started about 720, it also took me a month or so, but now i`ve tabbed the page.
    2) i`m easily confused by everything, miss a lot of the references, and indeed, more often than not, don't know what is going on which means i spend an inordinate amount of time backtracking.
    3) i`ve saved quite a few images to my pc that have actually made me LOLed, indeed very nearly rofled. The 4chan stuff on Toy Story 4 was hilarious.
    4) i have been mightily impressed by forumites ability to photoshop and often at speed, which has led me to question eveything. Everything.
    5) i have and shall remain a grammar nazi, even when i get it wrong. Tha's the benefit of beeing any kind of nazi i guess. Especailly when the incorrect use of "you're" makes me want to reach for the gas.
    6) my alt-tabbing ability when the boss is around is verging on the prescient.
    7) i`ve learnt an awful lot, but have absorbed a lot of rubbish, which comes out in conversation particularly when i point out how our cat is "doing looooong cat". She has no idea what i`m talking about, but then neither do i half the time.
    8) my ninja name ran on so much i gave up
    9) i spend most of my time typing with my face, being in I.T., that it is now, mostly, coming out legible.
    10) i`ve also wondered what impossible dreams i`ve missed out on when i see "photobucket cannot..."Ah the joy of coming late to the party!
    11) much as i have the audacity to presume i have any sort of kindred spirits on here, it is amusing to see that there is at least one person on here who has had similar thoughts to my own
    12) even with your banhammers, your occasional precious behaviour, your offensiveness but above all your ability to find and post things that have entertained me no end, i salute you all and will carry on watching quietly from the sidelines.

    Carry on.
