This is the view I get from my computer / work room taken today.

I thought exactly that. I used to be in Talybont South back in 2003/2004! Hasn't changed...

    Built some led-lights.

Looks pretty neato IMO. 32 leds total, controlled by this crude DIY-dimmer.

TY. Now that I've looked at it a while, I'm wondering why I didn't mount those to the table top, facing up. It might give a better effect and the "extra light" wouldn't show the cable mess, but would rather shine up and on the same wall as the two spots..

    Where'd you get that desk?

Found myself in need of a new one, that design would work perfectly.

The desk is of the DIY-sort:

It's a normal 160x80 cm table with a top-shelf made from 2*2" and another sheet of fiber board. Handy dandy if you happen to have a couple of open test beds for hardware benching.

Slick setup there - I like the well planned layout and the fact that it's tidy :thumb:

Your not going to like these then, although im in the process of tidying and changing the room around, theres a temporary curtain up as im waiting for new ones to arrive.

Not much has changed since my last post, ive acquired a few extra things, but also chucked alot of stuff out.

The two desks are due to be replaced by a single large one if i can ever find a planer big enough to plane the desk top!

Why not just use a Zalman fanmate to dim them?

Where's the fun in that? The dimmer cost me nothing, didn't have a spare fan mate and it was nice to build the thing.

But yeah a good idea actually, you'd also get more channels :)

Actually there's a fair amount of space under the keyboard shelf.

Cleanliness depends on whether I have to work there. Can't work if it's messy.

I really have to get someone to frame my "Annita's Cube" pic from Gunny sometime. The last guy I took it to wouldn't mount it because he couldn't guarantee it would last due to the adhesive on the back :/

I did get mine framed but i refused to pay for it because it looked shite, My new plan is to try to get it mounted between 2 sheets of glass and somehow mount it to the wall. Possibly even lit from behind:thumb:

Not quite sure how its all going to work or when im going to get time to do it but i think it would look nicer than in a frame.

One day I 'might' clean my desk and take a picture of my pitiful set up.. All this dual 22" monitor goodness makes me feel inadequate. :(

That would be nice. Anywhere other than in the corner of my office rolled up in the tube it came in months ago would be great
