i once saw an art exhibit where the artist filled condoms with water and suspended it from the ceiling... it was a bit odd... but then again, art is subjective... so is taste...

it's his computer and his project... while your comments have some validity... methinks it's a bit much imo.

damn... flame much mate? Whether you like the mod or not theres no need to post this kinda of stuff if your not going to do it in a constructive manner.

Personally I think it looks clean and real sharp. Nice job on a simplistic and pleasing mod Satan! :thumb:

LMAO!! Sorry dude but it is a GT500, I guess you missed where it clearly says that on the bottom of the fender of the car. Check the pic again dude.

Very well done dude, i loved the airfilter on the side.
A mustang horse on the side would off been cool (just an idea).
Although to be fair, i don't think that is a GT 500. The newer type GT 500 wasn't relaesed untill 2007.
Thats just a pimped up GT.

Sounds like someone needs to take a chill pill,

he has taken some time to change the appearence of his case,

the case has changed/ its now different,

so the case has under gone a modification! ....So it's a mod.

    Naughty boy, naughty comments :nono:

No you check again. GT500 has a completely different bumper & hood. The foglights clearly are on the grill where the gt500 has them on the bumper, then check for brembo brakes.... The stance is wrong. Yet another cheesy mistake.

For reference a REAL gt500. NOT a GT. Secondly, it just goes to show the point I was making, this is not art, I am not knocking or flaming the guy. What I am saying is that he rushed it and did not devote the time nor efford to make something clean.

Ok define a mod.I thought modding was about taking a something standard and changing it. Looks like I must be wrong then!! He may have got the pics wrong but it's still his interpenetration of it.
If naming some thing defines it then my last mod "Bulldogs box" must be way off the mark, because it's not really a box and you couldn't keep a Bulldog in it.:grr:

Want the definition of a mod? Do the exact opposite of what he is doing. I have been watching him take one of my favorite hobbies and kill it for years. He is a poser.....

1 - You take your time and define your goals. ( he clearly modeled his 1/2 assed attempt after a cheesy wannabe)

2 - You execute the ideas with careful precision or the best of your abilities. ( he clearly taped the thing up by eye and has major over-spray and crooked lines)

3 - You then take said ideas and further refine them. (he put more time in his signature than the whole case combined.)

Painting a case and putting stickers on has never been a mod nor should it be considered one. Especially when you don't take the time to actually measure the lines and come up with something that looks like you put an effort in.

By your definition, then I can just take a cheap case, add some sloppy paint on it. Stomp it out of shape and call it a mod...... Not quite. His so called mod had no other goal than to slap some crap on a box and call it art.

Whats up your butt? and yes... it is a mod. you say or to the best of your ability... maybe he doesn't care about perfection? Not all people are neurotic about getting things perfect. And ass to the "sloppy paint" and "stomping it out of shape," if that was what you wanted to do and then you called it a mod, its a mod. Quit raining on everyone's parade and leave it alone. There's just no need to take your bad day out on other people...

Being a non car person he could have put a pic of a bloody escort and i would'nt have cared!

    1 - Define your goals?
There was very few goals he really had thus he never needed to make any goals his goal was "Make the case in the style of a mustang" COMPLETE

2 - Aerosol spray paint is a complete bitch do you realize that? painting only part of the case is a complete and utter arse and i think he has done well not to get more bleeding if he used stronger tape he would make more of a mess than that :thumb:

3 - You have no evidence of that thats your own mind i can see the effort gone into this one it looks great and i can tell the theme he was going for from looking at the end picture
Your basing it of your own quality "Don't like it = Not spent time doing it" No... :eyebrow:

*FACEPALM* Go through any of these logs and you will see people painting there case if you haven't already gathered "Mod" is a short hand for "Modification", I could do anything that changes the appearance of the case this is called a mod.

You missed the window aswell so if none of this is mod i would love for you to share what you do consider a mod

"By your definition, then I can just take a cheap case, add some sloppy paint on it. Stomp it out of shape and call it a mod......" Yes

I suggest you stay away from the project logs if you find it so necessary to become a class A douchebag when someone forgets to draw up there blueprints and call in the engineers :duh:

It looks pretty much like a mod to me, So Jaguarking 11 point us to something you've done so we can c**t that off see how you like it.

I was taught not to be rude to retards but in your case.

OK, everybody go back to their respective corners and calm down please.

jaguarking11: if you don't like it, you don't have to post. But if you feel compelled to leave feedback, keep it reasonably constructive.

And who cares what particular Mustang it is?!?

I personally think it looks great.

At the end of the day you build what you like.

Does everyone like my case mod? No.
Did I spend 100s of man hours making it? No.
Did I have time to spend 100s of man hours building it from scratch? No, although I think they look great when you do.
Can I afford to build an awesome system with 4 watercooling loops and dual cpus? No! (Although I'd love to).

Does all this make me a poser? NO!

I like my build, I built what I could afford in the time period I needed it for and I like it!

The same applied here, he may not have spent *quite* as much time as you jaguarking, but then he's building it for himself to his own specifications. You could offer constructive criticism rather than just have a go at the guy.

Getting back to the topic - good job and keep it up!

I felt my criticism was constructive. I plainly said it needs more attention to detail. As for what particular car it is? It does make a big difference, he is dedicating a mod to particular model, he may at least get a model right.

In any case, ive said enough. Ill go chuckle in the corner. Seems times have changed. And this so called art has turned into spray paint and badges.

Ciaoo nexxo, long time no see. :D
