Solidworks addon to import sketchup files. get the .skp files from scc.jezmckean.com (cos it's awesome and the admin rocks)
Try the trial, might be what you're after, but remember it's only good for 10 days or runs, whichever is earlier.

 

That's very odd indeed. I've tried it several times, and I get the email notification immediately.

It is possible to export as various formats, and I'm sure Solidworks can import various formats.

Yes, but hey, surely we are all on the same side when it comes down to it whatever tool we decide to use for modeling...and you guys have so much time invested in this stuff it would be a shame to to leverage it.

I did look before I posted and there are a number of solidworks models posted mixed in with sketchup threads.

Apologies if I offended by asking here - I thought about starting a new thread and perhaps I should have.

confusis, I downloaded that tool and installed it, but it errors when i try to import the sketchup files

Will create another thread appealing to the solidworks users.

Nice work cronicash, I used one of those boards the other day.

 

Does anyone have a dimensionally correct replacement top for a Laing D5 pump? It is the inside helical volute (pump chamber) in particular that I need.

 

I done a drawing of the Laing D5 Vario Pump (MCP655) with a EK-D5 Top Rev 2. It's got the internal detail as best that I could do it, I used a digital vernier so it should be pretty close to dimensionally correct.
