I had it happenig a cpouple of times aswell, i think its because sketchup shifts its focal point by itself all the time, the problem occurs if u zoom in to a part and the focal point lays way behind it, it happens in the other direction aswell su the cuts off the rear end of a model, im not sure if there a button to reset the focal point ?

If you're willing to supply the card, I'm willing to put in the hard, hard work or making the model :p

Maybe we should petition manufacturers to provide us with on-loan "review samples" to model in sketchup.

Or maybe someone should petition Bit-Tech for a job modelling up their review samples?

...Or they could just give us their design specs, after all these things are designed before their built... It wouldn't be too much haste to take a dimensioned pdf and through together an accurate SketchUp model.

I have a request, and maybe if something like it exists, please give a download link.

I am looking for a fairly detailed Apple Power-mac G5 case.

This guy has had the briefest of goes at the internals, but hasn't even indicated the panel thickness, so beyond that... nope, sorry.

Speaking of better models :), I'd like to point out that the head of a low profile bracket is quite different from that you find on high profile. You can fix your HD5750 LP by the official design specs: PCI Express Card Electromechanical Specification Revision 1.0a (page 74 and 75).

OK Hawaii, thanks for the input. Will do when I find some time, and especially thanks for the Spec Sheet, can never seem to find that stuff when I need it. Will save for later.

Purely by coincidence I have just finished off another pci-e related model, the motherboard connector slot:

I did measure the dimensions properly or took some of them from a (different) spec sheet, so most should be close to perfect. I really can't be bothered putting in the electrical pins in the slot, so I won't. Otherwise feel free to be critical.

I'm seeing the following when I google sketchup components, no mention of Viagra, but still a worrying result.
