What's the oval holes around the O in "Modmen" for? Just part of the logo, or do you have something cunning planned?

Out of curiosity, how much did the 2 inch thick clear acrylic cost?

@nutman - I had to modify EEL's original logo because if you read 'Modmen' upside-down, it said 'new coW.'

You are really into the Rush quotes! -Honest! My phone was in the van. It wasn't just the Rush documentary on TV.

anyway...

-The tape-and-glue-to-a-board technique worked too well on the waterblock core. I destroyed the board trying to get it free.

-Oooh, blurry. This is &^*#@ frustrating.

-The part required an overnight soak to get the MDF backing free.

-Then it was re-mounted flipped over so I could cut the rest. You can see I drilled a tiny hole all the way through the middle. I used that to line up the cutter. The start of the 4 exit ports are visible too.

 

I'd vote for new coW

Why this design? Is this for aesthetics? In terms of CPU block design goes, this is like the Maze4 era design, quite old imo. A i7 870 even OCed dosen't put too much heat, so I guess the design doesn't need the best performance. Either way, this should do better than high end air.

As for the rest, looks good!

 

Randy wanted to design it and since everyone brought their own creativity to the project, he did a great job! take into consideration he never designed one before and it suits our needs fine.

That video is awesome and the painting tips is relly good becus i suck at painting i have allways to much paint on so they leave marks on it
But this case is just so nice and i love all of your work on it exept that i did like to see true the green
