D: However the guy that fitted a 5970 got on alright. I guess I'll just see what happens. Worst case scenario I have to buy a new case. I don't think the heat would fry anything. I'll see how it goes. I looked around a bit and found plenty of people running 58xx cards. I reckon I'll be fine.
Anything with a twin frozer or open style cooler will dump the hot air into the case, It would be better to get a card with a cooler that exhausts its hot air out the back of the case.

Something like that, it has a much more closed top than some but I expect the air will be drawn from the top and be dumped out the front and back, so half of it will be in the case. If you are worried about in case temps then it will probably be best to go for something completely closed that draws in cool air from the front and exhausts out the back.
