    thank you Waynio :p

Ok, and now for the finishing... I´m using Danish Oil, and it´s a first timer. I´m very pleased with the result... the walnut really sparkles :D I´m doing 3 layers, so it´ll take some days. I´ll be back soon!!

    Thank you...

Thank you Lance! The base is not removable and is glued with a two-component adhesive... it´s actually quite steady

Snus is amazing and can also be used like this:

Ok, this is a kind of a radical update. I´ve been troubled by the front since the beginning of the project.
There´s a funny-face hiding in the layout, and the proportions of those "nostrils" are just silly...

Can you see the resemblance? :duh: I can!

Soooo, I had a big desicion to make. The mod needed a facelift. Removing the face and replace it with another
is no easy task this late in the process. But we live in the 21st century where everything´s possible.
The techniques are there, just watch Travolta and Cage in the movie.
Anyway, it was all or nothing. I picked up the plunge router and hoped for the best.

    Ok, no turning back now
    [IMG]

Some nervous milling and the worst part was over…
    [IMG]

    A bit of surgery left…
    [IMG]

… and the face is OFF!!!:lol::lol: I would throw it in the volcanos of Mordor if I could

    Some final milling

    Done and done!

A lot of work for nothing, but this just HAD to be done IMO.
A new front is on its way… no teasers

Damn that's disgusting and funny at the same time.
That picture is mostly funny because scandinavian girls don't really use snus, they like that other brown stuff* in their mouths more :D

    Greetings from Finland o/ :D

Sorry to say this, but the revised front plate now really reminds me of a face, namely that of the big skull on fantasy island as seen in Disney's original cartoon "Peter Pan". Or, just any skull, really. ;)

    Thank you!

I know... I had to test the router somwhere. Didn't intend to compose a disney skull, but the artist in me sometimes works unconsciously :p ...and that's not the new front, it's just a dead mans face.
