That Inkling one looks like a really good buy... quite affordable as well.
I think I might go for one of those after next pay day.

As for my most recent purchases:
A heap of Flames of War models, Polish infantry early war set and tons of Soviet bits - mid to late war.
Some more Dwarves for my Warhammer Fantasy Battles army.
    Paints, lots of paints.
A new easel and a mixture of canvases in different sizes.
    Crysis 2 for the PC.
A new pair of shoes for work.
A new set of Dremel accessories (one of the 250 piece sets).
...and finally, alcohol for a party on Saturday night.

Nice buys ... hobbies can cost quite a lot sometimes :D ... :wallbash:.

I'm still hesitating about the inkling. I'm looking at the noteSlate too (but it is not released yet) :

From what I've read there's no prototype either, the images are 3D mockups. :(

I´ve bought my own flat now, 51 square meter. Large livingroom (projector is ending up there) electricity is included in the utility, and its about 270 £ a month, but with the mortgage im looking at 400£ a month in total, then add about 30 for the isp and im set, i get the keys in december tho so it´s a bit of a wait : < , total cost, about 98000£ (converting from swedish)

    :) Thanks.
They can be extremely expensive when you're running a club, you end up getting so many people that want you to play every game under the sun. Such a pain balancing how much to put into club bits and how much for my own personal collection.

I'm not so sure about the noteSlate, I'd be happier without having to have a large tablet block when doing simple sketches. The InkLing seems to sort that problem for me.

    Will do.

Family is helping a bit with the purchase but not much. I choose to buy instead of rent as the rentprices are usually higher then actually buying and taking a mortgage here, only downside is you need 15% of the total sum you´re borrowing to get a decent loan

My new super budget somewhat powerful shitbox pc.

    2nd hand:
    Phenom II 720BE
    Gigabyte GA-MA780GM-UD2H
    4*2gb corsair ddr2
    HD4870 (sold on)
    Evga GTX 460 superclocked

    New:
    Ace ecco 220 case
    Corsair cx430 v2

And the final cost of this pc: 193£

I am gobsmacked! And it overclocks quite well! I am running 850mhz on the core of the 460 and I am running 3.5ghz on the phenom.

£368 a month here, plus utilities and council tax etc- it's a shame more housing associations don't do rent-to-buy schemes, I'd be atleast half way to owning my flat by now ( private letting is a no-no though, prices are mental around here due to so many properties being second homes and such )...

    Anywho:

Took one of my trucks out today and had an awesome 3 hour bashing session in this beautiful weather, stripped 3 wheel hexes and 2 rims, stupid plastic hexes :duh:
Ordered new metal hexes & a pair of new rims, only about £23 including postage which is covered buy selling a painting & my GPU cooler a few days ago; easy come, easy go...
