I hope the ranking is made a little harder. good old BF2 had some great unlocks that did take some time and effert to get, which kept me playing the game for a very long time.
I just think they're gone down the console route of easier unlocks to keep the part time players happy.

I still love the game tho Metro on conquest was allot of fun

 

What's the highest ranked person you've come across? Seen some 30+ now which I find a little crazy...

Also if you think the recoil is alot, try switching to single shot with 'V'. Makes it much easier taking out a target at distance with the assault rifles

Have come across a 38 rank which is, as you say, crazy.

I'm here to complain about lag.

 

I get quite a lot of lag even when im playing on uk servers, It nearly makes the game unlplayable sometimes, One time i was running across the map and a sniper headshotted me, But i did not die untill a few secs later which was really annyoing

 

A couple guys in my clan are 40+ and one is 45

 

the problem i have with lag is that you die feel like from a single bullet, whereas they obviously have shot you a few times.

see a person, felt like i fired first, but i die with him surviving 50% health!

 

Yeah the lag has been pretty bad today at times. I'm getting bored of this map already, enjoying unlocks though.

 

I think I just played a game with a bunch of people from DICE, they were contantly chatting in Swedish (I can read, Danish), and we're like prestige 2 (A few).

They played like noobs.

 

There is prestige in BF3??

Me not sure.... I much prefer able to have multiple profiles.

 

They say you'll reach max level before you unlock all your weapons/customizations

 

Prestige isn't too bad, gives more incentive to play. Plus I like the shiny icons.

 

Just wondering, is somebody here playing the beta with directX 10 or 10.1

i don't know if i'm the only one but battlelog can't find any servers. Is dice rolling out a patch or doing maintenance?

The lag was pretty pretty bad earlier.

 

I'm playing with a 275 GTX so I'm not sure if it's 10 or 10.1...

 

Vis the lag does anyone else but me only get bad lag after the battle goes underground, and stays until they switch servers?

I feel like I've got a bad memory leak or something.

I'm extremely disappointed by the game so far. It's really just a laggy, buggy, close-fighting-spam-fest-CoD-clone-piece of sh*t game

Hmm, my flicking lines and flashing textures actually get better once I head into the metro.
Many servers do seem to screw up in various ways until they crash and reboot, though.

IMHO, rush is not battlefield. Conquest is battlefield. I take it you didn't manage to get into a Caspian Border server at all? I got in a couple of times. I even flew a jet for 30 seconds before the server crashed. I had not a clue what I was doing, but it was glorious. The vehicles were beyond buggy, but glorious. As an example, I saw the wreck of a jeep flying up into the air about as high as the antenna on the map, and then fall. I don't think it was meant to do that.

 

Caspian border is fantastic.

Of course the physics are all on crack.

 

And not even the good kind of crack. Though it was hilarious to watch at times.
Personally, I reaaaallly hope that the screwed up physics were part of the reason my 5970 choked a bit every now and then and lagged, and obviously that it is all okay on release.
