The mortar is made of win!

 

Figured out what was wrong for any in a similar situation.

They did indeed merge the Passwords/Accounts for Origin and SWTOR.

However SWTOR previously would let you use Special Characters in your Password whereas Origin does not.

As such, I couldn't log into Origin because it wouldn't recognise my SWTOR PW as being valid.

Ultimately i had to reset it through Battlelog as neither the Client nor Website reset feature would work properly.

 

Grr, I want C4 and mortar. But I hate those LMG's.

They will have to wait until I get the M14 equivalent. Ah well.

 

Got the Mortar last night, oh it's fun on Grand Bazaar!

I would like to thank everyone who came onto the ZiiP server last night. Everyone played well and generally seemed to understand the concept of teamplay

Anyone else getting a weird camera bug? All of a sudden, you are in control of your soldier, but in 3rd person 'follow' mode? The only way ourt being suicide? I was in a server last night and it happened about 10 times.

 

Finally got my copy through the letterbox this morning, installing now...

 

Has anyone tried using a 360 pad to control helis and jets? I couldn't get the game to respond but not had chance to investigate properly yet (have to go a spend time with the in-laws!)

 

I had a quick go using one to control a jet last night; much better than the mouse and keyboard. I need to find an empty server to practice with it.

 

Yeah - it would be good if you could set up an empty map with all the weapons/vehicles to practice with. I feel a bit guilty practicing on a server, so I tend to stay away from vehicles. I got flamed so may times in BC2 for crashing the 'copters!

 

I wasn't sure if I wanted a joystick or 360 controller so I borrowed a friends 360 controller. I did some slight remapping and now I can actually fly. I tried to use it for running and gunning, yuck, I just reaffirmed my faith in K/M over controller for everything thing but a certain few task.


I love all the LMG so far, the mortars are a hit and miss thing for me. They are super cool but some rounds I'll do amazing with them and others only get assist


BTW the M249, foregrip, suppressor and IRNV is amazing, better than cheesecake some might say. It's silent, deadly and can see in the dark.

 

The single player sucks but that's not what I bought it for. Multi-player is where it's at.

Managed to take down a heli with a tank last night though.

 

Having a great time except that I seem to get this intermittent stuttering (like a freeze for ~1 second), which keeps happening. Can run everything on Ultra at 60fps but this is just killing it for me. No idea how to solve it.

 

im puzzled on origin its £40 for download version. Been three stores today all have physical copy for £30

Saw someone take out a tank by flying a jet straight down into it earlier, looked amazing from a distance

I think the default key for it is V, it was for me in singeplayer anyway

 

Anyone else getting random crash's or is it just me :S Can play on ultra with over 30fps, but i switch it down to high... But 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 30 minutes into a game and it will ALWAYS crash

 

Yeh I have had a few crashes, screen just freezes and have to shut it down using task manager, my friend was getting it too.

I wasn't using the latest nvidia driver at the time but once installed I haven't had it since, not holding my hopes out for that actually being the fix though.
