The only difference between communist dictatorship (yes, that is what we had here in central and eastern Europe between 45 and 89) and military drill is that in communist dictatorship, sometimes even the general public has to do the drills for stuff like Spartakiáda (kind of stuff you see in North Korea these days).

I realise there is a video of awesome thread, but there's a question I wanna ask along with the video
I'm not a massive fan of Kenny, I should think most professional rally drivers/racers have the talent to control their car in this way and at the end of the day when it comes to rally Ken isn't exactly at the top...

Anyways,

How on EARTH do they record such camera effects seen at 2:50 and 5:42?? I cannot for the life of me work it out, does it have a certain name?
If so I would like to know so I can see more of it because its a pretty damn cool trick!

Matrix effect!

They just have a load of camaras in an arc take shots at the same time

 

Awesome vid Hopefully it will get merged soon though.

 

Multiple cameras set up in a semi-circle recording simultaneously. During editing they choose a pint at which to freeze frame and then merge from one camera to the next giving the effect of panning around a set point but when live action is frozen.

It's the exact same effect used for the Matrix movies for shots like Neo dodging the bullets on the rooftop during the rescue of Morpheus.
