My h50 has been rock solid and a great performer for quite a while now. Very impressed, wouldnt go back to an oversized air cooler anymore (even though the main rig is a custom water loop the backup rig is on air) Kov...is the pump connected via 4 pin molex? Make sure one of pins hasnt pushed out. Check over the plug properly etc. Not familiar with the h80 myself, are the fans powered by individual 3 pin headers plugged into the mobo?
Thanks bud. Had a look all round and when I did I really took my time as I stripped the whole PC and cleaned it all up so it kooks all new again. Tried everything. After all that installed my old H50 and no problems what so ever. Checked the Molex cables everything.
Will look at this I think but one thing I will say the H50 for me is going to take a lot of beating. Was also going to try the H100 but need to see where it will go in my had x case.
What's the batch number of the H80? As a certain batch number is coming in faulty, pump making a grinding noise
Will have a look when get home at Milton Keynes doing some lathe work as he needs help making threads. I know it started with 150 I think
If it is one that starts with 15 then it is the faulty batch, had to return 2 to yoyotech as they both had pump problems I ended up just getting the Antec
My antec 620 works brilliantly. Even after chopping it up to include my nb and a small res. The standrad hose is so much easier to work with than the the rigid plastic covered type you get on the corsair ones too.
Iam on my 3rd H80 now, both previous suffered from noisy pumps, the grinding noise previously mentioned. The cooling is fantastic although I did buy some better fans as the ones supplied are noisy at full whack.
Thats sorted then. Il sell you a tj07 cheap with a bundle of spares so that you can mod it. And jeff can spray it for you
