My current desk chair has casters that fall off and then when I try to move I fall off. Soooo I need a new chair. What can I get for £60? Or push it to £70.

I'm currently using an IKEA Verner I believe, seems to have been discontinued, but I like it, can adjust the height, not the angle of the back though.
    Cost me £50 I think.

I'd recommend something from IKEA, especially if you can go to one and try them out.

I have found Ebay to be the best place for office chairs, some surprisingly good quality chairs for the prices, and there should be some nice ones around your price range including delivery

Love the IKA chairs with the fabric "net" backing lets your back breath (sweat less).

I found Staples to be very good actually. Just go in and try them out... failing that, I've seen some pretty nice ones in charity shops for an absolute steal.

    That's what I've got.

Great chair, has lasted much better than the cheap rubbish I had before it.

Think its about £90 though, or was when I got mine.

I can't recommend a chair as the last one I bought from ebay cost £120 and was absolute crap but I just wanted to say that if you care about your sitting posture when at your desk then make sure the arm rests come up to or near the level of your desk top so your arms are level with the desk when working this helps to keep your back straight.

I bought a new desk which was described as a computer desk but it is too high and my old chair was too low to sit comfortably at it so I then had to get a new chair which had a high enough seat and arm rests but then when the seat was high enough for the desk my feet were barely touching the floor so I then had to get a proper foot rest to support my feet, geez, if it hadn't cost about £250 for it all it would be laughable, actually it is still laughable :D:D

Anyway, moral is, don't buy an office desk to use as a computer desk as they are often too high

Why not try gluing the casters on with a serious heavy duty mastic ?

Either would do. And it'd be a lot cheaper than buying a new chair

It's a ***** chair anyway. Twas free and is really uncomfortable. And it doesn't have armrests. Or tilt.

After much thought I think I will go for this.

Anything else i should think about before I purchase. Jasio that is a nice chair but almost double what I initially wanted to spend.
