Well, I got my new switches from George, MX Blacks.. wait, no, I've got ghetto reds on it at the moment!

It's lovely to type on without the clicking! I feel like I'm typing faster with these switches atm.

Glad they got there ok! Stick with the (ghetto) reds!

Apart from the GH60 HHKB layout version (kind of)

Anyone know the type of screws a poker uses?

Just been told the case I've bought doesn't come with any screws....
So going to have to order some.

Does your poker not have some already? What make of case is it? I know that oneproduct's cases use longer screws than normal (which are #2-56 screws 5/16" length)

Edit: Oh and other cases use 4mm length I believe

My poker does, however when my alu case arrives I want to be able to use my normal case with my other poker. (which is currently caseless and sitting in a poker box)

    It's from this GB:

Fuus it's Sai on GH, seemed a nice enough guy, and I think he did just forget, doesn't stop it being rather annoying though :p

Oh - I bought one of those (in that actual groupbuy) and it didn't come with screws so I just used my current poker's screws... I'd be tempted to try some 2-56 screws - the closest to 4mm I believe you'll find is 5/32"

Edit: Although 5/32" is just under 4mm

Fair enough, yeah I'm wanting to use my alu case with my ergo clears, and then my normal case with my other poker, which I'm tempted to try brown stems and black springs.

I'll have a google to see if I can find some.

There are some here but postage is a b***h - you could try ebay or amazon but I'm not having much luck there (although I'm after longer ones 5/16" not 5/32")

Edit: I'm not guaranteeing that they are right - I think they are...

Hey guys, no chance in hell I'm reading through all 651 pages of this thread, so I'll just say hey here.

Currently got a Ducky Zero DK2108 and a Cherry MX Board 3.0. Also have a QFP and have a Ducky Shine 2 on the way. Tempted to part with a few of them as I have just heard that Ducky have some new keyboards on the way (expected May). Keep your eyes peeled - you heard it here first!

Quick question for you guys. There are some decent prices on ebay for noppoo choc boards at the moment. Like the look of the Choc Mid 87 but there are very few reviews, by people that know what they are talking about anyway. Have any of you tried or even own this board?
Leaning towards tenkeyless with MX browns after hours of reading last night (not even a fraction of the way through this gigantic thread). Any other suggestions for under the £100 mark? Wife is getting angry at my recent PC spending so can't push the purse strings much more at the mo!

TKL w/Browns for less than £100 - I'd go for one for a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid personally

Edit: Not that I can find one in stock anywhere for love nor money...

If you're looking to buy new, and want TKL with Browns for definite, then the Quickfire is the obvious choice in my opinion.

There are some Ducky fans here (cclonline.com stock them in the UK) but nothing with browns for that price...

I still think if Ducky can release a Zero tenkeyless for around £55 they'll make a killing. Not impossible seeing as the full size is only £70.

The DK2108S is about to be released as well to allow for some cut price backlit madness. Will probably kill sales of the Shine 2 :hehe:

That looks a good option, thanks. Can't say I'm a massive fan of the font used on the keycaps so if I went in that direction a set of custom keycaps would top my future purchases list.
