Quite - there's something pretty sus about recording that interview and then uploading it. He must either be taking the piss or in fact the whole thing's a setup. Still funny and cringeworthy tho.

Not necessarily... a fair few interviews are conducted of Skype and the like now... [not saying it's *definately* not a wind-up though...]

the guy on the other end of the skype call might actually work at the bank, and think this was an actual interview, but the guy that has taped it and uploaded it is a troll..
it is kind of funny, yes.

He's hardly trolling them, if anything he came across as being a total dick and thick as pigshit.

The actual quote is "You either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

The meaning is the same, yes, but the wording/grammar is borked....

Not really sure about where to put this; kind of demot when you think about it.

I will say that this guy is damn smart:

Very sure some people would just give money to prove a point, and not feel so guilty if their 'religion bowl' was particularly empty.

The reason I don't give money directly to homeless guys is not because I don't care for them, but because there are only two kinds of "beggars": People who are actually not homeless, but put on the act for easy, free, untraceable, tax-free money; and the actually-homeless people who would rather than get a job, volunteer, or find a shelter, do it for the exact same reasons as the first guys.

Seriously, I had to deal with one on another forum. Mainly, the CM10 guy did. Don't believe me?

Notice in his Twitter feed that he chews the guy in my sig that he got banned? Yeah, where did he get that money?

    Oh!

Now, I know that there are truly people that are homeless not by choice, but they really have been turned down by every employer. Those are those I have sympathy, and even empathy, for.

Side note: where I currently work, it's a temporary job, and mainly designed to help people to get another job. A help-me-pick-my-feet-up job...

When I worked in the city and walked past a homeless guy selling the "BigIssue" every lunch time. I'd buy him a sandwich/snack/drink the same as mine instead of giving him money. He always seemed genuinely thankful for it. Of course he could have been getting six meals a day for all I knew.

There's plenty of "homeless" people in the cities who have mobile phones. At lot of them make Twitter accounts to tell people about the "homeless" life.

Isn't tax free money great!?

"Homeless" means that you haven't got a fixed abode. It doesn't mean that you haven't got a job. Plenty of homeless hold down menial jobs and sofa-surf, bunk in hostels or sleep in parks at night.

Some do maintain a Twitter account on their PAYG mobile, because it is at least some way of feeling part of society.

    Understand first, judge later.
