After installing Skyrim I basically have nothing else to buy unless it really strikes my fancy.

FTL is a bargain for <£2. Gunslinger is definitely worth £8 as well, I've had some fun hours playing that badboy!

Nothing much else strikes me as yet.

FTL is a strange one, I found it hugely enjoyable one time but couldn't see any replay value in it. It has literally no replay value on paper: there is no persistence, no progress, no stats, no retainable property or items, no learnable strategies (since the game's layout and content is so randomized as to reward a strategy on some runs and then punish it on others). It was like the old arcade games of yore, like Tetris and Pac Man: so simplistic and self-contained that if you've played it once, you've played it enough, unless you're out to just kill some time.

For £2, though...I can't deny that it's definitely more than £2's worth of fun, even if you just play it once.

I found it exactly the same. I think I will revisit it at some point though, after the last time I finished playing it I realised I could have done it much better.

Everyone should buy Just Cause 2 for £1.99 if they haven't already got it. I picked up Hotline Miami for a bit of neon fun!

I'm yet to complete FTL, I obviously have poor luck (or I'm just really bad at video games). Personally I'm interested in Surgeon Simulator and FEZ, they look pretty good.

Surgeon Simulator is definitely worth the punt, massive doses of fun! And frustration, if you try to actually take it seriously.

Buy FTL on their own site, you get a DRM free version and a Steam key, plus they get all the money instead of Valve taking a cut.

Nothing has got my interest yet, however Tomb raider seems a great deal

Tomb raider is great. First one I've actually liked.

I hadn't heard a thing about this game. The Tomb Raider series seems to have hit a sort of can't-be-arsed saturation point where people don't even bother to talk about new instalments any more. Is this one worth picking up?

    Yes.:thumb:

Also, if anyone wants to swap the card things, I have a duplicate Skyrim Deathlord and Bioshock Elizabeth.

This one had good pre-release publicity and the game lived up to the hype.

I play it with 3d Vision which really brings it to life.
