Cheers Brooxy :) It's doing some PC and laptop repair with a bit of admin work on the side for a local company just down the road from me. It's not much but its certainly a start and I can finally start putting some money away to finally upgrade my PC...

Microsoft bought Nokia's phone business, what a relief to me as a smallish Nokia shareholder. Finally the pressure is of and I don't need to worry does the WP-strategy work and is the next flagship phone enough to convince the markets and all that stuff...

As the phone business really wasn't that profitable anymore for Nokia, it was mostly just pulling the stock price down with all the speculation; does WP-strategy work or not. Now all that pressure is off and I can just live stress-free as NSN and all the technology patents will just gain money for the company.

Maybe I'll gain my planned 100-250% profits from Nokia after all  Just gotta wait few years.

I finally found a freakin job! It's only Cage Building, and it's a 52 hour week, so I'm going to be dead (Had to waive my right to work up to a maximum of 48 hours a week, sadly.)

But monies! Work! A reason to get off my fat arse and do something!

Sadly it's only a 10 week temporary contract, but that's okay. It's something.

Cooking ! something I've long had a passion for.

Last week Waitrose did not have the veal I ordered (200g was £2.90). Instead they sent us two New Zealand venison steaks. They weren't very big (but were quite fat) and I almost refused them, then I saw the price on them (£7.90). I figured what the heck and kept them.

I know, it's not about money... Any way, I've had venison before a few times and wasn't a huge fan of the musty taste it has. These steaks did say "mild" so I figured I would give it a go.

Man, they were ****ing LOVELY. No musty taste whatsoever. I was totally stuck on a sauce but I found some black cherry preserve in the fridge. Deglazed the pan (had olive oil, butter and meat juices) and added a little water..

Seriously? that's the best meal I've had in yonks. Even my fiancee who isn't a big meat eater (she usually just eats the fat then leaves the rest) cleared her plate :)

I put it on top of a pile of cheesy mash and poured over the sauce.. OMG, foodgasm.

The musty taste would more than likely be due to it being wild, rather than farmed. New Zealand has a massive Deer industry (Sir Tim Wallis was one of the pioneers), so it's more than likely farmed venison.

Being a deer farmer, I'm am exceptionally proud of how damn tasty the meat is from farmed deer, I'll eat it over any other meat you can put in front of me and I've tried a fair bit of different meats :D

Yeah that would be it then tbh. I used the wild stuff when I made a sort of stroganoff using red wine and port jelly.

But yeah, can't get over just how bloody nice this bit we had last night was. The caramelised outside was just gorgeous, really steaky. Then you cut into it (hot knife through butter) and it was just so god damn tender /drool.

I would never pay £7.90 for it.. Well, maybe I would haha ;)

Was thrilled with my sauce too. Had a lovely sheen to it and was lovely and sticky and sweet :)

BTW you can send me some samples if you like  :D

Been offered a Z77 UD5 for £40 del. Plus spent the afternoon with 8Pack as well as looking at some shiney trade marked systems.

Will link to details when I get home and get the PR up.

In other news, I still am capable of procrastinating and getting work done in college. Yay!
