Funny that when they updated the RSI website I lost the ability to access the forums from work (get a webpage unavailable notice on all my browsers), but I can now access the Chat Room which was previously blocked by work firewall.

Magical. I've been coming up with a few names for our squadron with the help of thesaurus.com. I figure we should probably use the word 'Bit' since that's our defining characteristic.

• Bit Faction
• Bit Syndicate
• Bit Cartel
• Bit Imperium
• Bit Sovereignty
• Bit Butchers
• Bit Unit
• Bit Sect
• Bit Troop

From the above list my preference would be Bit Faction. Anyone else like any of those?

 

I still haven't been back to check what i actually paid for in this, and it sounds increasingly like a game of numbers (and names of ships which are sometimes numbers).

I like Cartel and Butchers. Could the motto be 'They Eat Cheesecake' or the classier latin 'illi manducare caseum crustulam'.

 

why not just Bit?

 

I can see how reading this thread would make you think that, but its not really, a lot of us have a single ship (I have the 325a).

I'll wait and see what more people think about the above, and their pop a poll up on the first page and people can vote. Then we can maybe get a logo etc up. Fun times!

I like Bit Faction, or Bit Syndicate. Would Bit-Tech Faction be too long?

 

For me, yes, I think the less syllables the better, but happy to pop it in the poll along with the others.

Also, if anyone else has any suggestions jot them down here and I'll add them in.

 

I joined Gold Wing right back at the beginning, may well change to Bit-Tech though.

 

Yep I only have the i300. I do want more but want to earn them by playing the gane

 

bit-cartel is agreeable for me, perhaps skewing the end with tech.

I've just been wandering around my hangar and I'm pleased to see they've added support for the 2560 x 1080 resolution
