Good advice guys! I seem to be doing well so far I resisted the cravings last night after picking something up and realizing I only wanted it because it was there (I'm 6 years old). I don't enjoy forced exercise so its more "Eat this and you have to do more work tomorrow" which is enough for me to put it back.

I think my motivation now is simple improvements, last time I worked out it was to get big but I was never dedicated enough. possibly in a few months when I drop some of the additional weight I could bring out the weights again and keep a small regime going.

Just passed my 74-409 (Server Virtualization with Windows Server Hyper-V and System Center Specialist) exam, first Microsoft exam I've taken, and didn't think I'd pass at all. Now to update the CV!

48 degrees whaaat?! It was 24 outside here yesterday, 34 in the workshop with the added recycled heat from the equipment, and I felt uncomfortable working in it for just a few hours! Don't get me wrong, I like warm weather which in the UK is anything between 15-30, but only when I'm never more than 20 paces from a swimming pool, wearing nothing but shorts!

Well done! Which organization did you take the exam with?

Uni - Thanks! Booked through Prometric, taken at Global Knowledge in Leeds. Good centre, though the exam room was a little chilly. I'm now Struggling to cope in the heat of a room with a hairdryer, and several pc's - re-waxing camera bags is not so fun...

My ex-mrs has finally, after sitting on the fence about it for 8 months, decided she ought to get round to signing the divorce paperwork.

Also, sold a shedload of camping stuff, which means my new bank account has more than 0.00 in it, which also means the direct debits that are coming out before I get paid will actually get paid and I won't be stung straight away with charges.

I'm sorting stuff in my loft, which will probably mean a big fs thread on here shortly as there's various bits and bobs. It should mean a lot of it is cleared and hopefully give me a comparatively empty loft. Very therapeutic.

Plus, I've got my really nice work colleague who I share an office with back this week from being away at the TT on the Isle of Man for the past fortnight - and she brought me back a t-shirt for some computer fixery I did for her. Nice!

Stuff is, for a change, going alright. Long may it continue.

Vans Warped webcast on my laptop (I will go one day!... when i'm loaded)

Football coming on the TV (Falling back into love with football)

    Beer in hand

Not a loud female in site

    YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

ALSO: Work friends, most of my friends have never really celebrated my birthday... I know it sounds selfish (on my part) but mine is the one that gets bypassed, on this occasion with degrees being finish I gave everyone the benefit of the doubt because its the time to find full time employment and most of them are away in different areas (or making really bad excuses).

I mentioned it to a work mate and he has arranged something awesome on a complete whim a week before... He is probably more up for it than I am and it could be one of the best weekends ever if it goes down!

That is a real honest-to-cats horn bow and I am honest-to-cats standing unassisted. It doesn't last long, but there you go.

This beast does. Got her from the Cat Protection League on Wednesday and it has been real fun getting to know here. As you can see she is showing a keen interest in all things computer which is helpful as I have a Parvum case build on the horizon.

Sister never even came home, so probably did the walk of shame right about mid afternoon given the state she must have been in. So much for dating some other guy.. she is now passed out in her room with a bucket beneath her bed.

The question is what do I do now? I have the advantage of getting my own back for having to scrub alcohol out of the living room carpet.

    A) Be a whistle-blower and let the fury of my mother open the sky like the onset of the apocalypse.

    B) Go ape **** myself considering I'm still in a pretty bad mood

    C) Pour out every last drop of alcohol left on the side that's hers...

    OH NO NO NO!

We're going for secret option D) which is play every hardcore, deathcore and or metal core song I have on my spotify playlists to really make that headache worth it.

I'd go with D whilst doing C then timing B to coincide with the parents getting home and allowing A to 'happen naturally'...

But ensure no evidence of C or D exist on your mother's return to appear whiter than white. This a golden opportunity to be used to the maximum!

I could deal crystal meth to children and still seem whiter than whiter compared to my sister...

In other news, my whole body feels like its on fire. Just finished working out and damn it feels good I'm defiantly feeling better

I had a CT scan in one of these, a Toshiba Aquilion. I do love the rush you get when the dye floods your system and the whirring sound the machine make.

Oh!, 20 minutes ago (roughly) I officially turned 22...

I'm not super keen on getting older in any instance but the best years of my life are yet to come.

I'm ready to find work, get fit and go travelling and its really only me standing in the way of that.

Just remember, you have to grow old, but you don't have to grow up! :thumb:

My dad has a similar motto:

"Son always remember growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional"

Whenever I find myself being boring I remember that and go back to acting my shoesize instead of my age. It's far more entertaining.
