Sold my car

Was on Auto Trader for less than 24 hours and it's already gone!

Just ordered three really nice pairs of jeans for under £100 with birthday cash, I usually buy relatively mid priced jeans and they never fit well.

A month ago a nurse and I organised a psychological support day for a group of young adult patients with a life-limiting, incurable, debilitating progressive illness and their parents.

It has never been done before; there was no research literature to guide us; I literally made it up from best clinical insight/experience and flew it by the seat of my pants. Today we got feedback; four attendees (the one we had most concerns about) have kicked their depression, started doing cool stuff with their lives. One of them managed to pull a girlfriend. Their parents are stunned.

I've been kind of walking around the rare diseases unit going: "LOOK. LOOK AT MY BIG PSYCHOLOGY BALLS AND BE IN AWE!"

 

That's a really nice thing to read.

Got to spend an evening with the family I adopted, had a great time, good food, and a lot of laughs. I actually feel like I'm on an even keel mentally and emotionally now.
