No they're across the shoulder, so about twice as long. The reason they're so expensive is that they've designed to securely hold £3k+ of camera. You should be able to pretty much drop the camera and know it will hold.

If you're just slinging a small DSLR with kit lens you can get away with just a cheap ebay knockoff.

It is indeed in Norway, and the scenery is indeed stunning. Very old forests coupled With rivers and waterfalls fed by nearby glaciers all framed by those lovely mountains which are practically begging for someone to come and climb them. It is called "Grøndalen" (Green valley) and is located approximately between the two small cities of "Førde" and "Florø".

If you ever find yourself on a trip to Norway, and the weather is this fine (we had 32C in the shade that particular day), I would advice you to rent a car and take the trip. About 30 minutes drive from "Florø", and about an hour from "Førde".

There are a couple of very well marked hiking trails going up a couple of those mountains all the way up to the glaciers. The water is fresh enough to drink, and the Trout are practically jumping onto the shore by themselves (at least they were this summer). Just a simple rod with a hook and a worm is all that is needed to catch the tasty little buggers. :D

I once had the great pleasure of making the trip from Bergen to Vossavangen by train (by car is not so great, still nice) and that was through some amazing scenery, not too dissimilar to that picture as the railway winds itself around the edges of fjords and through the edges of mountains. This trip was just after Christmas as well so a lot of the small waterfalls along the way were frozen.

There wasn't much snow along the way until we turned away from the coast and started to head more into the mountains then it just went from amazing to wow.

Wedding gift for my Mum to say "thanks for being my mum".

Cycling gear for my new build fixie: handlebars, tape etc in the Planet X sales. Just need wheels now and I'm done.

Rocksmith and a guitar strap, as I stole my brothers Yamaha guitar, picks and stand to use it with.

Camera strap for my holiday as I've always hated my standard strap.

    Ooh you jammy bugger! Jealous!
Have a look round your local smaller shops like Premiers and random foreign run newsagents. They're the places that tend to stock the Bulgarian kit kats. Some Texaco garages have the white chocolate and peanut butter Bulgarian varieties but they aren't great anyway.

Did you drink the contents? I have the Yamazaki 12 on the shelf at home and it's really rather good. If you haven't tried it it's certainly worth a go for the 50 quid I paid for it.

Aye, I've tried it prior and been very impressed. The only other one I've had out of all of those is the Hibiki 12, which is in the form of the 500ml bottle here at home waiting to be drank.

The other 2, I most definitely cannot afford right now. :D
