Multi Fallout 4

I have never played any Fallout game, i guess i have missed something

 

Only got the fallout 3 CE version, i missed out on the Fallout New Vegas one, but considering i have 2 glass cabinets and a floating shelf full of CE stuff i think i have enough... If i've worked out the TIME right for the Fallout launch it will be midnight on the 10th... i got the game + Season pass for less than £45 so i'm happy.

I got assassin's creed to tie me over till tuesday

after seeing the Unboxing for the Pipboy edition floating around, im glad i didnt get it.

No images outside of bethesda sources have looked anything like those bethesda images. I'm happy to be corrected but it just isn't looking that way at the moment.

 

I've taken the plunge.

I bought it. Enter six months of mediocre looks and probable bugs!

Still, for around £30 including Skyrim I can't complain.

The graphics shown leave a lot to be desired, so I hope the modders get their arse out of their hands sooner rather than later!

 

Yes they're from the Xbone.

Also, Bethesda have released the Pip Boy app for IOS and Android today. I've had a look it looks awesome.

 

Why the hell would you release screenshots from the most inferior system?

I feel like the engines hardly changed since the elder scrolls.

 

Because from the look of it it's only been hacked to work on the Xbone. The only PC related stuff that has been released is a few screen shots.

There was also a video doing the rounds earlier today with some one running from one end of the game map to the other. It was taken down by Bethesda, but it took around 11 minutes. Pretty much the same as Skyrim, which was bigger than Fallout 3.

The videos doing the rounds the other day were more than likely on the Xbone too. The HUD in particular looked pretty awful.

Meh. TBH I'm so desperate for a decent game to play that I don't care how big it is, how bad it looks etc. As long as it drags me in kicking and screaming I don't really care and I have a very strong suspicion that it will.

Visually I quite like it but I did feel the gun audio was pretty cra* I like my guns to sound as though they mean business. To me these sounded very weak.

 

Most of them look to be lazer and plasma based weapons. The Chinese Assault Rifle had a lovely noise to it in Fallout 3

 

The guns in the leaked gameplay sounded very punchy, even the non-ballistic ones. This is probably toned down for the trailer.

 

From that trailer I really don't see what the fuss is about

 

tbh its the same crowd going nuts for fo4 that went nuts for skyrim and started "modding" their waifu's and pony's into it.

I think he's referring to the tendency of some players to mod Elder Scrolls games into mashups of unsuitable combinations. ie introducing My Little Pony or other anime characters into Skyrim. This sometimes overlaps with those who take the ingame relationships just a little bit too seriously, with interesting(horrifying) results.

Can't say the same about faces, though. Holy **** are the faces questionable at best.

 

I am one of those morons that took the plunge and ordered the Pip Boy edition, from the Ars Technica unboxing it looks pretty swish. Less like plastic junk. If the price is right I will likely sell my Pip Boy on the bay.

Cashing in on the fanbois. I can't wait to play Fallout 4 I am hyped to frak right now. Not really feeling any other title released at the moment.
