I have been incredibly lucky with that over the years. Had one back when we first started to move over to tft screens that had one stuck pixel (blue) and then developed a cluster of 3 others, but everything else that I have had over the years, both at home and work, has been perfect. That goes for monitors and TVs, we have just picked up a new 43" Panasonic TV as our 12 year old Sony finally gave up and went all Paul Smith on us and, again, perfect.

On the contrary, a friend of mine always gets some issues with screens either straight away or within a very short time of owning them. Goes through hard drives like crazy too, in fact, that has become a running joke, it happens that often.

Dunno I've ever had any of those... nor know what they'd look like if I did.

I have a dead pixel in the bottom left of my 400 Euros Acer, none on the 220 Euros AOC. I had several on my old work laptop, but who cares about that, eh?

You'd know - stuck pixels (and dead pixels too I suppose) never change colour. If you had a black screen with one yellow (or other colour) dot on it, or a dark screen with a light dot, you'd sooner or later notice it. And once noticed, you cannot un-notice,

Same, even with secondhand stuff like my Dell, its still perfect! Been really lucky!
It'll be a pixel stuck on one colour, so can be really annoying and noticble depending on colour and location!

True fact: stuck pixels are at least 100x larger than working ones, once observed.

Jealous... I couldn’t change the shipping date on mine :(

however, new keyboard is here! Took me a while to figure how to pair it with Bluetooth. Chinese instructions didn’t actually work FN+P was all I kept seeing online and videos. Turns out it was FN+Q/W/E depending on what device you wanted paired so if it was a change in firmware the documentation hasn’t kept up!

like it though, feels nice and robust, pretty swish for the money, thought the RGB would look tacky but some of the lighting is quite pleasing. So much more desk space which is also very pleasing! might take a bit of time to figure out all the function keys but will get their in time!

mouse should be here by the end of the day!

edit: mouse turned up and its great, fits super snug in my hand my old mouse was fine but generic in shape. I actually think it was sold as an ambidextrious mouse. The amount of desk space I now have is ace. I'm excited to receive my monitor to really finish it all off. While I love my current desk and it fits the setup super sleek I'd love to transition to a motorised sit stand desk to really get my workstation the way I'd want it.

My 32" AOC seemed very big at first but, after 4 years, it's just normal and the wife's 27" looks very small...

We all wanted to do it... I guess some of us are still scared of Bindi's ban hammer.

Umm... who/what is Bindi (might be before my time, here); Irwin is the only only I'm aware of. :(
