I've played Elite Dangerous on KB+M for a couple years now. Absolutely love it. Can't decide whether to HOTAS or not, seems expensive.

 

Flight sim hardware is still generally pretty expensive or low on stock at the moment after the Flight Simulator 2020 boom.

I was a big fan of the original Spintires but it's turned into a bit of a buggy mess in the past 6 months so will be keen to see if MR can recapture some of the magic.

 

Mudrunner multiplayer on Epic is non-resumable and it seems to kick us regularly so I think my group's nearly given up on that.

What's the alleged list? Won't stop me, i've added some games I already have on Steam because, well, free!

 

But as I said, that is alleged, Epic only shows "Mystery Game"

Xbox Game Pass Ultirmate

Is currently £1.00 with two months extra for free then £10.99 after that runs out.

 

That's a pretty good deal indeed.

Given this in the blurb though:

... Does this mean my existing X360 Gold (Live) account will be lost if I cancel after the trial period? Anyone had any experience of doing similar?

 

If you've not signed up for ultimate before, your existing any gold subscription will be converted to ultimate (18 months on mine converted over)

To get back to just a gold sub though, you do have to let Ultimate expire (don't forget to turn off auto renew) and once it's expired resubscribe to Gold, then your games with gold freebies should all work again. (Edit - I say should. I haven't tested that)

If you play on the Xbox regularly, it's worth looking at Microsoft rewards. I fund my ultimate sub entirely from reward points.
