I blame the two of you, @Arboreal @ElThomsono, but I found a supplier in Germany for Kevlar KM2...

The main interest for me, though, was they also sell carbon fibre, I just thought while I was looking I'd check their stock of ballistic kevlar. It's not too expensive..

Since I was wee, I've wanted a pool table. As far back as, 9-10 had a friend that had pool table in the basement with a warped MDF bed that was impossible to play on, still loved it. Spent many overnighters at uni in Rileys, and have assessed every place I've ever lived for suitability for a pool table (all failed).

And as of this morning, I want no more, and I could not be more delighted. Nearly a month ahead of schedule as well, as I was told to expect it end of Feb at the time of order.

    Voila...

Social distancing mega-sofa is still missing a couple of the backs, I'm reliably informed that they should be with me by the end of Feb.

Jealous on so many counts... :jawdrop::hehe::lol:

Room big enough to hold pool table - check; room big enough to make pool table look small - check; having a pool table - check; being able to use room big enough for a pool table for the pool table - check; being able to use room big enough to make pool table look small, for the pool table - check. And that's just this one pic. *grumble* * grumble* *grumble* :waah::waah::waah:

If you've got a room that big why wouldn't you go for a proper snooker table! :D

If I had a room that big and, enough money, I would put an armchair and a damn good hifi in there. A pool or snooker table, wouldn't get a look in.

    Welcome to Hotel Ryzen!
My intro was very low key as I had a small budget but room to grow.
I have been impressed with the R3 1200, which is the entry level 4C/4T CPU, and even better I've been able to lend it to a friend whose i5 4670K rig is really unhappy at running PUBG.
Even with the 1050Ti I bunged in, it's pretty good.
We're pulling his leg now, as he has to change PC on games night when we get to play PUBG - ohhh very swanky, dedicated PCs for different games!

I look forward to getting back some time and putting a newer gen 6 or 8 core CPU in the B450M board.

Enjoy your new found video crunching capacity and running far too much stuffs on all 16 logical cores

I mean I'd go for a home gym or a grand piano myself, but meant if he's wanted a pool table with so much room why settle for one when you could get the real thing? :D

I'd sooner an indoor firing lane or 2 myself.

Couldn't even tell you the difference between snooker and pool. Honestly thought they were interchangeable.

Snooker tables are huge, 11 foot 8.5 inches long. There are other differences of course but the sheer size of the table is a huge obstacle to overcome.

That made it about as clear as mud :p

Oh the tables are different too?

This is starting to sound like a rabbit hole I don't need to explore..
