Ok, Lets go with next parts! To keep the right distance from the top, I use a small "thing" made of two m4 cubes, two m4 washers and an m4 screw. It start look very good The fans will be mounted on top of a magnet frame so I can access the motherboard ports without any problems. The fans will be powered from one PWM cable, so all you need to do is lift the cover with magnets and disconnect the PWM cable to get to the IO ports of the motherboard. Easy and simple solution. For the fan frame, there will also be dust filter with magnets. The top fans and those at the bottom next to motherboard will intake the air which will be sucked in from the inside by the fans on the coolers at the front, back and behind the mobo tray. I also use power button, reset button and button for interior light. I must make PSU frame because big hole with cover next to PSU is a little bit to short If I want to remove PSU by it Cat made quality controll and all is approved David and GOLIATH COSMOS is soo small compare to BEHEMOT. I ordered fittings but will show them when they will reach me after 2-3 weeks. It will be some special Maybe tomorrow or next week I will mount MOBO Tray. I am too tired to do this now Now I am going to designe frame for front and back radiators and MORA 420 LT
How are the magnets attached? do they come with an adhesive pad, or do you use epoxy, or something else?
MANLY G5. The edges on that look really clean. What did the fabricator use to cut it? Your cat always has "take the picture already" face.
Ladies and gentlemens, MORA is here! What a huge monster! Space between MORA and mobo tray will be enough for barrow fittings and all cables. MORA will hide all cables and soft tubes, great! I worked a little bit with p14 cables and 9 fans have only one 4 pin pwm connector without tons of cables. Now I can design the mount to the MORA.
Hidden behind the motherboard... like it's an SSD or something. Edit: 0.12 amp X 9... You might want to check the specs on those little wires.
I think that 13W while max rpm isn't a big problem for this cables But remember it is on max rpm, I think that I will not use more than 600-700 rpm so 5W is max.
I'd let it run full out just to check... with an extinguisher handy. You never know if a random startup/shutdown burp will bypass the PWM. Some old Dells used to default to full speed at startup.
I was testing p14 around 8 hours on max rpm with psu and nothing wrong happen, so it should work good.
This truly is a behemoth! I bet you could not even really have the fans spin and still have chilly temps. The fabrication on those panels also looks just beautiful, makes me want to work with sheet metal as well, if only I had access to a laser like this
^ I remember someone tried that when the MoRa was new. It turned out it didn't work very well, but it only requires a tiny amount of airflow to change that. I suspect this project is 60% cat cooler/heater anyway.
Yes, MoRa doesnt work good without airflow. If you have some other radiators with fans + MoRa it change something but even with only 9x 300-400 rpm MoRa is monster in performance!
