Taught my Flipper to control my new speakers:

Now I don't have to worry about the cheapo stock remote getting damaged or lost. (Though, yes, I should have taught it volume up before volume down...)

I once had on overnight in Cirencester (not pronounced like Worcester or Towcester) and upon asking the lady in the hotel how the name of the place was pronounced, I was told "the white horse" :duh:

    Roughly, buttcum…

Butcombe is a village a few miles from where I grew up on The Mendips and, where the brewery was founded.

Trump is looking at violations of the Espionage Act. Dumb **** had nuclear state secrets.

Plus the Southern Baptists face a DOJ investigation.

And I got my new dentures today. Today was a good day.

The name translates as “six crying cakes”. They appear to be a Welsh biscuit.

Looks like it could be a welsh cake perhaps?

    Also...

    Arctic Z1 monitor arm :)

Since i've had my X34 I've had to sit in the corner of the desk because the monitor stand is really deep. I wasn't sure the desk would hold it, its not quite Ikea grade but not very solid either.

Got one from eBay £18 shipped and so far it appears to hold fine. really needed to tighten it up because no way would this hold anything heavier than an X34 despite its weight rating.

They're sort of like thin scones? I had no intention to but I've somehow eaten half of them without thinking :hehe:

For the first time ever, I sat in the car for an extra ten minutes yesterday when I got home from the weekly shopping.
An EV with climate control (set to 18C) is glorious!

Just got back from a trip into town to donate blood and I did the same. Our car is not an EV (Mini Cooper S), but it has a rather nice feature of continuing to run the ac for a while after shutting the engine off (at least until you pop the door open) so I sat there until that had turned itself off.

Now in the house again and I am melting. Not sure If I would rather be in the office this week...

The heat's finally broken here: 23.4°C outside and 27°C in the office. Got all the windows open, trying to bleed off the stored heat. Might even get some rain later, which'd be nice!
