That's Old Skool Ian! I have dim and distant memories of UFOs being taken down by those 'nose missiles'.

I had a D7200 for a while - bought it second hand and sold it for the same price I bought it for. Wish I'd kept it now - great 'little' camera that delivered excellent photos.

Took the kids to Comic Con at the NEC yesterday, and managed to resist all the nerdery on display... except this:

    Imagepipe_8.jpg

Fiver. Could have been a lot worse. Never done a Gunpla before - Warhammer, Airfix, sure, but not for years - so the fact it's a noddy-tier baby's first kit is probably a good thing.

No idea when I'll find time to take it out the packet and build it, tho'!

What kind of gaming can you get out of the A2000 Dave?

It's roughly on par with a RTX 3050, from what I've seen. We only got back last night so most of my mail won't come until tomorrow - not sure if it'll be here that quick though, what with the disruption to the postal services hitting the island oddly hard.

It's going in a 4 litre chassis for low power use and not too demanding games - although it will do well over 80 fps at 1440p medium settings in Cyberpunk (no RT with DLSS)! I have a spare Z390 ITX board and a 9500T, which shouldn't impede the A2000's performance.

Nice. Tiny little powerhouse. I am always tempted by a SFF but I know me, I know I could easily end up falling down a very deep expensive hole...

Mind you a little gaming rig downstairs next to the PS4 may be nice.... No! Do not.

Random tangent, back from Scotland yesterday? We got back from the Highlands today. Nice drive along Loch Lomond on the way back.

Yeah, yesterday was a loooong day. Eight hour drive plus an hour on the ferry.

I haven't driven Loch Lomond in 20+ years, I always liked it though. It was mainly to see the folks, but we managed a few days out. Went up to the Falkirk Wheel, because the kids haven't seen it (and I'm a massive engineering nerd) and swung by the Kelpies on the way back.

Although, like a numpty, I left my camera and drone in the house so any pics were snapped on my phone.

Jesus that was a looong day.

Only four hours + stops for us on the way back thankfully. Funnily enough I'd not been to Loch Lomond for at least twenty years either.

A longer drive on the way up but we went through a bit of Dumries and Galloway as we like it that way and crossed over on the ferry to Dunoon to head around to Loch Goil, Loch Long area.

Think it's confirmed we'll be moving back to Scotland again at some point in the not too distant future.

Likewise though, camera not in hand. :duh:

Was hoping to catch sight of some dolphins as Loch Goil is a sea Loch but no joy. A lonesome seal did bob around for a while though.

Nice, I'd be interested to know your thoughts. I use a fair bit of Frank's Original, used to use their wings sauce too but it seems I've gone off it.
