I have solved all the hardware problems and am close to finishing the project. Some pics, soon some better ones. Today I will mount the plexi window. Some parts look a bit bent in my pictures, but everything is just straight in reality. A professional photographer will take some shots soon
Hurrah, good to see more progress from this great worklog. Looks brilliant Franklin, im really anxious to see this once its been professionally photographed. Are you still intending on entering that modding competition, because I dont think anyone else has a chance .
Yes april 22 and 23 is the Duch Championship Case Modding and I will be there, that's if I will get through the first round ofcourse. The acrylic is mounted now.
That things is mint Fraklin. The acrylic window just gives it taht extra touch to finish it off. Especially how the window curves in where it would split to form 2 sperate pieces. Brilliant! What sort of lighting are you intending to use?
Looks great I even like the idea mounting the plex on the outside rather then the inside, emiting a brighter green border on the edges? Goes very well looks fantastic - so clean and solid bests, Turf
Wow, I don't normally look in the archives, but...wow. Great mod, clean yet busy at the same time. Loving the cooling. Now to read back through the log...might take me a while
wow, this project has taken a long time but it was definately worth it. extremely clean and very well put together, good job
Franklin: you have done a fantastic job...The machine should win any contest you enter...I know you have my vote..
The only thing that's bothering me, in the window are the rivets in the middle section going across the case... for the rest good job dude, you deserve to win
I started working on the last details. The first thing I did today was making a aluminium cover that closes the gap between the aluminium cover and the radiator. This spot. The aluminium has the right shape and fits. Now it needs some polishing.
Another detail is the white acrylic that covers the aluminium plate that devides the upper and lower part of the case. In front of the aluminium baydrive cover there is no acrylic yet. So I made one. and placed it.
