Displays Dell Ultrasharp 2209WA 22" worth a purchase?

    Yes, yes the 2209WA is smexy. As Storm above says, though, anticipate dead pixels and subsequent RMAs: my first one had a big dead pixel cluster and a spot on it from being hit in transit, and I RMA'd it. It was with ebuyer and they were fairly helpful and prompt. It just seems to be quite common with those monitors. It doesn't cost you anything other than an extra couple of days wait though, so it's not a real problem.

    Then again, there was the 2309W recently, an upper-crust TN panel with a crazy over-HD resolution and a nice price tag, that got good responses from the BiT team. I don't know how they'd compare side-by-side, being different panel types, but it's probably worth a thought too.
