    A lot of great designs already. I love watching the engineering that goes into these sketches.

    Dark~3nergy, I really like your bezel design. I can imagine those vetical bars as polished aluminum or translucent red acrylic

    Ok so this is my first real go at using sketchup to mod (I HATE SKETCHUP AND ITS LACK OF MATE/ALIGN TOOLS!). I have a whole album of views because it's kinda hard to see everything, hence the name: Stealth. (Note: If that name has already been used I will think of another) The case is made without any rounded corners or objects on it and only flat surfaces and corners, to stick with the stealth theme. It's a all dark black plexi and plastic case and the metal is painted in differing shades of dark gray, the interior is left light metal color so it shows through the plexi better. Well gimme any opinions on it please ^^ its not as intricate as most of yours but its still up there (there are a LOT of triangles and the likes in there that are barely visible due to the black color).     Please note I did not put in any hardware except for the DVD drive because its about the case not the hardware right? ;) Plus rather that the majority of it be my work.

    What would be absolutely awesome would be if you could incorporate some metal plates, riveted together, like you might see on the surface of some sort of Stealth aircraft... like you see on the metal in this image.

    yea I may do that around the edges. I'll work on that a bit and see if I can make anything of it. though sketchup is a pain in the ass to do detail work like that I'll give it a go. post up a pic if I can get it to look right.
    Edit: I'm working on it, it looks cool but does kinda defeat the whole "Stealth" theme, even though stealth aircraft do have rivets :/ I'll post up a draft soon and you guys can choose whichever is better looking.

    all the designs on this thread are awesome, cant wait to see some more, but arghh! sketchup doesn't work work on my computer for some insane reason!

    I've found the issue - I forgot to enable hardware accelleration.. d'oh!

    ARG! had sketchup crash twice (getting used to the 'bugsplat' messages) already on this model

    @Skullen - That would look neater if the tapers overlapped, like on the Air Force Academy chapel in Colorado Springs.
    The color on the feet need to match too.
    It'd also be neat if the top fins and front fins wrapped around the corners and met.
