    3.5mm all the way for me Simon, but I don't need the mic or surround so I get to spend my money on pure audio quality.

    I was about to start buggering around in photoshop, but I can't be arsed :p

    My LAPTOP M18X R2 has its built in sound card Creative Sound Blaster Recon3Di THX

    So I'm looking for something that I can just plug and play. Main usage is for gaming on BF3, teamspeak and some music.:)

    Simon, I reckon you should hook it all into the big rig's audio system, add a sub, uprated speakers, mounted mic etc.

    Be f***in' awesome!

    If I was a owner driver, then I would do just that!:D

    Right, as I only have 3x 3.5mm Jacks, plus the SPDIF, will the PC360 work with the mic? Or is Stereo headset the best option?:)

    Now really confused what to buy:sigh:

    Xonar U3 is basically a DG in USB form

    @t_g

    The PC360 is a decent pair of Sennheiser stereo headphones with a mic stuck to it, it connects via two 3.5mm jacks (mic and headphone).

    I have the Xonar U3 for my laptop. While not as good as my desktop old X-Fi, it's very close. Considering the size and the low power consumption, let alone price by a large margin, it compensates.
