Is it just me or is the new graphics settings names more complicated than the last? How much more blunt can "low, medium, etc." be?

1440x900, Dx10, all on enthusiast except Object Details. averaging 25 to 30FPS, very playable. and guess what, it's running on a 2 year old graphics card :eeek:

1680x1050, Dx10, all on gamer with fake Very High applied. and even more playable, still on 2 year old graphics card :eeek:

the game isn't demanding, last time i tryed to use a 2 year old Geforce4-Ti to play games, games it was a slideshow. get over it and enjoy

a bit of story wasn't clear:
in the end of Train level, O'Nell radio transmission was dead, and Koreans captured a solider, i thought that's O'Nell because he's meant to pick up the cargo, and there were no radio contact.
when O'Nell came up in the final fight, i was really surprised.

also, the last boss is just sooooo stupid.
Crysis 1 boss + some stupid rocket launchers = Crysis expansion boss

I bought it, even though Crysis can suck my man parts (I bought that, too) and I was truely, truely shocked that the game ran smoothly at 1920x1200 on some 4870's and a 9950 on enthusiast settings, 4x AA.

    I was expecting a slideshow.

Why does Psycho sound like Ross Kemp with a sore throat (ALA Ultimate Farce)?

Just finished it. It was short, but pretty good. Especially the last map.

Probably the first time I have thought "S***! I'm dead" just by looking at my map.

Why does the Crysis games give us these really cool weapons at the end of the games? I want to try them out a bit more!

What I really liked is that the you have proper weapons to cope with the small aliens. also, the Dual MP is pretty awesome. Especially since you can control them individually.

It's pretty obvious that they have gone for more power - more action in this time. I like it :) Just wish there was more of it... :sigh:

Things i liked about this game was,
    1. If you have a gun, and come across ammo for it. You automatically pick it up.
    2. Suit is much faster than in crysis 1.
    3. Weapon choice. You come to caches ( in east or normal mode) and get a wide variety of choices of guns.
Either the Gauss rifle, or the grenade launcher. or the scar or the something else. They place guns before you so you choose what type of shooting you want to do.
    4. The open Cursing. Makes you feel it more, nay?
    5. The PAX gun. No spoiler.

Thing i didn't like, was the glitch where if i throw down a gun into a corner or on a crate and the gun or the crate fall on me, I die.
Wasn't a big fan of that, no.
Ohhh, and the team mate's AI was dumb. If they fell into a hole of something, they would just stare in your directions, but never get out.
Your Review made me buy this game, mate. Thanks. 5/5!

Shooting enemies seems more "realistic" as well.If you hit one with a lot of armor in the shoulder, he will fall to the ground flipping around.

Great game, the price is right, the action is better, the story is a bit soar but whatever it still works. The best addition is the multiplayer, the increase of maps, the smaller sized levels, addition of more veichle based action, over all a great buy!

mclean007 - Your assumption is correct - cod4 is utter pants. I didn't enjoy it as much as I have other games at all. I think the best storyline of a recent-ish fps was Prey.

    Prey? PREY!?!

Don't get me wrong, parts of Prey were moving. The bit where Jenny dies was very emotional and I liked Tommy's character and dialogue, but Prey fails for me completely because there were bits where it was just incredibly clear that the dev team ran out of time and budget and had to cut huge portions of the game. The bit where your grandfather starts to teach you the powers you'll need, but then the aliens invade and cut him off? Lame. There were just some gaping holes in the story.

I thought that was quite clever, myself. Good devs obviously think about the special aspects of their game and how to introduce them to the player. Because you are forced into a situation you have to deal with, you learn very quickly. I dunno, I just found Prey a very engaging game and story. Roll on the sequel.

As far as I can discern, there's no reason to play Warhead unless you've already completed Crysis and can't bear to play it a second time. There's nothing markedly better, correct? And it retraces the same storyline? And looks the same, but is harder to run maxxed out? Basically, anyone who *hasn't* played the original won't understand it, and those who have won't enjoy it quite as much.

I'm not a fan of 'more of the same' game dev tactics. Bring on Crysis 2 :)

I just finished Warhead and all i have to say is: "this is it"?

So much fuzz for like 3 or 4 hours of gameplay?

Theres nothing really epic about this game, still needs optimization and the final boss is really easy. Killed it in the first time. Aside the train stage (wich is really easy), the game offers NOTHING diferent. And the "paralellism" they insist is almost abset. Just two lines from NOMAD in the end (btw NOT realated to crysis or warhead) and a ridiculous half line from PROPHET in the middle.

Whos Emmerson anyway? All militar missions have so many ppl in charge?

Please Crytek, less miraculous engines and more good games!
