A third cymbal for my Ion kit, garden centre gift vouchers for mum, a jane austen DVD set for sister, and a few dice sets for my girlfriend. Got a zipper put into a penguin puppet to turn it into the cutest dice bag you've ever seen :D

    That's christmas sorted, then!

dead space on 360 for £16
    c&c red alert 3 on 360 for £16
2100 marketplace points card for just under £8

a family member losing their job at woolworths is depressing, but the crazy prices make me feel a little better about it. until the 27th at least :/

(also got loads of bits for the rabbit -- huge sack of food, shavings, etc. but honestly, who here gives a toss about that :D)

"Damn, I heard you lost your job. Sorry about that.

    (pause)

    Oooooh! Cheap games!"

    Smooth >_<

Today saw the quite obvious combination of:

    Electric chainsaw
Dawn French's 'Dear Fatty' in hardback
    2 x L'Oreal sparkly eye shadow
    A Maglite torch
    Practical Performance Car magazine
    Christmas crackers

i wasn't even aware stuff was so cheap until she came home from work with god knows how much cheap crap and told me how mental the prices were and how they're going to be (was 50%, now going to be 70% off + 10-20% staff discount, wtf) -- and that she would pick a couple of things up for me if there was anything i wanted.

not that there's much left there. it's depressing to see how empty the place is (especially as it was where i got my first job too, years ago) and that it's only days away from death.

she's got another job already starting next year, so i guess it's not all bad. still quite saddening to see it go under though.

    so yeah.
