a family member losing their job at woolworths is depressing, but the crazy prices make me feel a little better about it. until the 27th at least :/

(also got loads of bits for the rabbit -- huge sack of food, shavings, etc. but honestly, who here gives a toss about that )

i wasn't even aware stuff was so cheap until she came home from work with god knows how much cheap crap and told me how mental the prices were and how they're going to be (was 50%, now going to be 70% off + 10-20% staff discount, wtf) -- and that she would pick a couple of things up for me if there was anything i wanted.

not that there's much left there. it's depressing to see how empty the place is (especially as it was where i got my first job too, years ago) and that it's only days away from death.

she's got another job already starting next year, so i guess it's not all bad. still quite saddening to see it go under though.

so yeah.

 

adding a chainsaw to any combination of purchases will make it awesome.

Gas, 91% alcohol (rubbing), new earphones for work, new mouse pad with a wrist rest, some gifts cards, dry erase markers, brownie mix, a church raffle calender, small note pads, ultra fine tipped pens and some other small office supplies

 

Mixed nuts, a whisk, an iPod arm strap thingamajg for my partners nano, and some foods.

 

My mojo returned to full strength after buying that. I'd had to endure the makeup counter at Debenhams previously you see...
