Turned on my PC, splash screen looked kinda old. Somehow it had down graded the bios back to F1 in my absence. Two hours sorting that.

Parts I made don't fit (I'm rusty).

Add that to the glasses.

 

Waking up to a picture falling off the wall at 4am or so.

Bloody thing took a tumble and smacked the good lady on the head while sleeping, glass smashed and she has a cut just above her lip.

After her self treatment, removal of any other pictures near our faces and a bagging up of glass strewn bedding back to bed we went.

Lucky the shards didn't take our eyes out or get our jugulars.

Think that'll scar. Wish it was the other way round, i wouldn't give a monkey's if it was on me - hopefully she won't too much.

Makes you think, i'll probably not leave this life in a blaze of glory but more likely tripping on a bit of pasta.

Edit: After a couple of hours in the NHS walk in there's no glass in her cut and her home made treatment apparently did the trick.

 

Why did I ever think that a belt sander wouldn't rip your skin off?

I have been serious tempted some times to grab my palm sander... I like to think sane thoughts won out but the truth is I am too lazy to go all the way downstairs out the the garage and back again.

 

I’m supposed to fly to Minnesota tomorrow for work for the week.

Storm Ciara might make it an interesting flight, assuming it even gets off the ground.

I hope delta have the good decency to cancel it before I have to get in the car to go to Heathrow at 9am tomorrow.
