As I said in the copy of this thread, I can't get to the site at all.

    Is it up yet?

making a site like that would be a good idea, i only got my licence around 3 weeks ago (learners permit), but since my parents(well my mum at least) lets me drive fast and do burnouts when its safe i dont have the urge to do it when it isnt, but still it would be a good idea

Considering he said "Here is the intro banner peice that I made as a start." It doesn't sound like there's much of a website to put on display yet

This sounds like a good idea though and I hope it works out well. I reckon most people think they're invincible when they do stuff like this (I know I do when I do crazy stuff) and sometimes laying out the facts like that can make people sober up.

    Hi,

Yeah I think its a good idea. There should be more place's people can go and do their thing and hurt their car. And a site pointing out the dangers and places they can do is a good thing.

    BlackMan
What is up with that? How come your mother lets u do burnouts and drive too fast? When u just got your learning permit. You don't even have a permant drivers license yet...

What kind of a rol-model is that.....

    Not cool at all

I hope you know that if a cop saw you do a 'burnout' or driving too fast that it would result in loosing your learning permit. => start all over again with theoretical examination and lessons...

I have my permant drivers license for about 3 months now.. and I've never did a 'burnout' or driving at crazy speeds, nomather how safe it might seem . the only thing I let myself be tempted too is taking a few fast turns on a familiar road where nobody is around...

My dad would kill me if he found out I would be doing crazy stuff with his car... burnouts, etc... == killing the transmission and tires and many other parts of your car.

    Just my opinion...

    L

    PS:
oh my58vw , is it just me, or does it seem that all the people that want to become a law enforcer are actually people that broke the law alot before...

(nothing personally to you! I'm glad u see that what u did was wrong, and I'm glad you see that now, instead of when u end up in wheelchair from a bad crash. And Its totally fine that U want to become a police officers, its just a ... thing i noticed :) (with some of my friends aswell).

Oh, and I've tried out for police officer aswell last year. but I think I'm an exception for my own notice.. lol

Yes, I am going to register the domain today. The site is in its beginners stages now and I am not going to plan on releasing until I get all the information from those that I am w
working with. Should have a small coming soon page soon though.

Yes that is funny about cops, it seems like some of us see a new career path when we see that other side of the law. Excepts I was 18 at the time and now 22 so that was some time ago, as long as I stay away from the back of a crown vic myself... like I am going to put myself in that posistion. And I now have a clean record again thanks to some work with the court...

We will see what happens in the next year...

Just secured domain... should have a parked page soon...

i think you may be interested in this part of the top gear sight as it has an awful lot of pictures of totalled cars, a lot of the drivers were speeding at the time, readers prangs
here is an example, it was a ford escort but then it hit a tree sideways at 100mph and these are close ups here and the other part is here

Holy!! How fast do you have to go in order to do that!?

I wish you the best of luck on the site, this is starting to become a problem near me and it's really pissing off a LOT of people.

You can saw that it pisses me off to, expecially when they block the street and don't let people go... thank you,

PS. I believe the driver was going at least 90 to 100 when he crashed, the accident I saw looked like that at 120 MPH...

And people wonder why I prefer large cars. I'd much rather be in an SUV and get hit by some ricer doing 100+ than a Civic.

    Hi

Yeah, indeed I agree on the bigger cars! You feel alot safer in them. and in the end you ARE safer in them.

Thats why, If I had the money, if they would fit on our city roads and if gas was for free, then I would buy a Hummer (H1 , not that H2 crap), A real Hummer-Beast.

If some ricer crashed his car frontal against the hummer, it would probably just feel like a little bump in the road :D

But I'll settle for a BMW 745Li (Longer version), And possible tuned by AC-Schnitzer, just to stand out a bit :)

So protect you and kill the ricer driver... that seems fair :hehe:

Now if everyone is driving big vehices we will not have this problem...
