TiL that the back of the hand is called the 'dorsum' TiaL that reading the back of hand sanitiser holds more interest than working today....
TIL that you can go on someone's profile and find "all threads started by" and jump straight to the oldest ones. TI also L that 2007 me was a complete twonk and shouldn't have been allowed on the internet during his developmental years some things should naturally expire and vanish over time, and forum posts are one of them. Oh, and TIL that Bit-Tech has a 'follow' function where you can follow other users? I have no idea what this is or what it does. I'm going down a Bit-Tech rabbit hole now. Remember Mankz?! And Tim S? Gosh. So many inactive/deleted accounts.
Those of us of a certain age have a lot to thank Smallfilms for in terms of our childhood entertainment. The Clangers & Ivor the Engine ('70s colour version)...say no more

TIL that one of my favourite films "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension" will finally be getting the sequel teased during the end credits back in 1984. "Buckaroo Banzai Against The World Crime League" by the original author Earl Mac Rauch, will be published as a novel in August.

TiL that the Ruskies had some pretty detailed maps of the world, I also learned that I would like to own some, but alas consumerism in the capitalist west has made them too bloody expensive.
That's the badger that started me down the rabbit hole. But the book is just the tip (and only for a minute) the individual reprints of maps are £20 a pop
Today I learned that I can get Sky to run a broadband speed test on my home connection from my actual office PC 20 miles away from home.
