    Went shooting again.

.357 Magnum, 7.62x54mmR, 12-gauge. Was fun, considering nearly everything else in my life is going sideways.

launched www.crazyshrinklady.com this morning (the missus' new site). Complete with facebook and twitter.
Seems there are still (as mostly) one or two minor issues, but nothing major.
Getting loads of good feedback on it. (best viewed in a webkit browser - Chrome or Safari)

Brink is great fun, but beware of the stupidity of pubbers.

I used to want things to be perfect and life was lousy, nothing was good enough!!

Now, I try to be moderate, with moderate pleasures etc and my life is a lot more fun

I got a couple of pieces of pretty good news today and one of them has actually got me quite excited!

First of all, my father has been given permission by his doctor to return to work on a phased return timetable after being off work for almost 6 months now. He's far from being outof the woods and is going to have to either greatly reuce his workload or retire in the next couple of years, but it's a step in the right direction.

Secondly, I have been granted preliminary funding for a business related project which I have been trying to get organized and off the ground for almost two years but had shelved indefinitely because of a lack of money for it and other commitments. I won't be getting any of the funding or starting anything until much later in the year, but it's got me extremely excited already. I can almost see the pieces falling into place in my head, and a bit of good news like this is a welcome change for me at the moment :)

FINALLY had my stomach surgery, which should sort out all of the other current health issues...

If I'd have done it through the NHS, I would still have another 3 weeks to wait before I even got to see a specialist for the first time.

Had a shave reluctantly.... i mean i did'nt get asked for ID once! when i was on holiday and in the bars after a good 2 weeks of stubble i was looking messy i decided to avoid keeping the chin beard as it looked worse having it by itself.
