There's a lot of mention of Firefox 4 here. People do realise they're coming up on version 7 these days, right?

It just seems to get smoother/more intuitive each time there's an update for me.

Stopped using Firefox about a month ago. Got sick and tired of memory leaks and that ****ing "Firefox is already running but is not responding" message. Got Chrome, and I like it a lot.

When they say IE is it aggregating all versions from 6-9 or does IE9 have a 47% market share?

+1 for Opera, being able to sync everything I need between Work, Home and Tablet all built into the browser.

I use both FF (cant use 5.0 fast dial doesn't like it) and Chrome, Chrome for banking and online shopping (just quicker to load 10+ tabs) rest in FF.

I use Firefox almost exclusively. I got Chrome on my laptop which I don't use much because it sucks, and we have Internet Explorer at work...sadly.

Wasn't overly impressed with Chrome to be honest.

Upgraded from FF3.6 to FF5, it now freezes about every 10 minutes. Gonna have to downgrade. I would go with chrome as it renders stuff nicer, but all my FF bookmarks are tagged and I like the extra customisation options.

I'm a victim of the Company forcing IE on me at work, everywhere else I use Opera.

Firefox5 all the way! Use it for both home and work with no add-ons besides flash and silverlight. It's clean, simple, fast and it works. Never had an issue with it besides some crashes a while back in Firefox4 but I found out that was an adobe flash issue which has since been fixed in newer versions.

opera user my self for 98% of stuff (I use chrome for fast open and close, norm for clicked links in MSN or Skype so I norm close them after short time )Chrome main issue is that each tab is an process and an disk i/o goes really slow on hdd based systems with lots of tabs been restored as well as RAM use

FireFox main issue is RAM use each tab uses a lot of RAM depending on site , opera handles them a lot better , I have 40+ open and it hovers around 1.2gb use,ch

I have an odd set up at home, I use Opera for most of my browsing. If i want to search for something quick I use Chrome, but my default web browser is IE9 simply because i find it still runs some websites better - like hotmail.

Dont misunderstand me though, IE9 is hardly ever used! Though it is used more than Firefox.....

    Safari Cheesecake

Joking, I have used Chrome for the past two tears now (IE previously) and love it.

You can always use MKLink to get round silly things like that. Best thing I've stumbled upon since I got an SSD

as someone has already pointed out, there are operational reasons for blocking non IE browsers.

IE9 is a good browser, as for compatibility with some web pages, it has compatibility mode for such instances.

browser choice is down to individual preferences, no one browser is perfect.

I got bored of IE and switched to lower resource hog Opera and have been a follower for more than 4 years and always prefer it instead of IE and Firefox. Recently tried Chrome because I needed to use it for a work and I really enjoyed it very much and the Speed Dial Plug-In was the deal maker to make the switch between Opera to Chrome. Quite happy with it and still prefer Opera to Firefox but, actually, Chrome is the browser that won my heart
