Yep, at uni, had to last 2 months on a tenner. I got a massive bag of pasta and had one meal a day
I've never been real life broke though.

Teehee yes - it makes me giggle like a schoolgirl whenever I remember it. When I was younger, I had been digging a hole in the garden for ages (much to my parents distaste). Once it was done, all I could think about doing with it, was putting a big blanket we kept for picnics over it, and putting my sisters plastic play slide up against the edge.

"WHEEEEE! THUMP!" - it was the best moment ever, when she slid all the way down, and promptly disappeared into the ground.
