Race 07. Since this is an old sim, I figured the graphics would be **** now. How wrong I was! Ultra detail and it looks great! Played in stereoscopic 3d, body vibration, Fanatec clubsport edition porsche GT3 wheel/pedals.

Well, you can make your own very easily if you have a seat you don't mind bolting a bass speaker to. A friend gave me a 12 inch bass speaker years ago, I had it bolted to back of my office chair, connected to an amp and then to the subwoofer out on soundcard.

At the moment I'm using Aura interactor cushion which is a self contained vibration system with little mains amp.

These are the plastic backpack version.

The vibration isn't as good as one you make yourself using something like an 8 or 12 inch bass speaker and amp.

Games and movies come alive with the body vibration. If you're into racing sims, force feedback on a wheel is good but without the body vibration it feels flat and you're disconnected. With the body vibration I feel every part of the track, every bump, the engine etc.

Sadly it says it's not available to buy in my area (UK).

Still, on another front, Football Manager 2012 is £7.99 on Steam. Supposedly you can buy a copy as a gift for just £4.99 should you already own it.

The £4.99 offer is bugged at the moment I think, SEGA say it should be fixed shortly, the deal runs to Friday anyway.

The deal coincides with the Janurary window update, so no reason not to get it!

If it's not been patched out, it's got a custom DRM solution isn't mentioned on Steam and that still hasn't been cracked AFAIK - it is seriously restrictive. Limited activations (3, IIRC), have to go begging on the developer forums (PM an Admin) to get another activation when they're used up... all sorts of not-fun.

Anyone have a valid Origin promo code that could be used against mass effect 3?

Borderlands is a bargain at 75% off on Steam. Just make sure to get the GOTY version which has all the DLC, not quite sure why the regular and GOTY version are the same price. Even better get the 4-Pack and sell on three to friends or forum members for the lower price and everyone wins.
