Looks good, some UV action is always good, oldschool, but cool :hehe:

If I may suggest, you should make the area around the fans from aluminum or optionally from acrylic, which works best for you. Dremel/saw out that whole front, but leave a couple of attachment points and then attach the new "inner front" to them. Should work much better than modifying the old perforated/full of holes front. Just my 0,02$...

Ok, I'm off to mod, I'm going to update tonight, so lot's to do...

Hopefully as we speak the metal parts of my case are being poweder coated a lovely Gloss Black in a paintshop in Slough...

They should be back in a week or so......

anyway, ive cut my window in the side panel. Its quite a plain design, but shows off the parts of the Mod i want people to see from the outside, namely The CPU and GPU, The Pump and then the Resevior.

Once its all back, im going to remove all of the pop rivets and put in some nice new shiny silver ones, as with all of the nuts, bolts, washers and screws...

Then, its a simple case of putting it all back together, filling it up, and then, ive got a couple of lovely CNC cut polished aluminium bits to go on, as well as some acrylic and mesh.
I'll put up some photos when its all back from the painters.

At The Mo, Im trying to get it all ready for the UK Gaming Championships, and deffinately I-30, becuase i want to use it!

    Thanks people. AJ.

(13 | 12 | 06) Update :: Lighting and other Bits.. (With lots of nice Picceys!)

Well, i got home at 2ish this afternoon and got a litlle bored while waiting for the new BF2 Patch to download, so i got some new picceys and lighting shots...
Ive had some bad news in that the Powder coating never actuakky happened.
SO, im trying to find a local shop that will do it for me.

    anyway, ive done my window....

I didn't want to have the window looking how it does, but after i cut out the wrong sections, this is what im stuck with.

Thats my basic plan with the lighting. I'll have 4 UV cold-cathodes, and a single Purple one, hopefull running @ 5V or 7V..

any way, on with the LED's and piccys....

Ive changed my Opinion on the PSU, allthough the modualr Connectors are very long, its nice and quiet, and was fairly cheap. Id give it :thumb: :thumb: (2 thumbs up.)

id say they must be about 20db when you're close...

I got mine from a company called leftclicks, but just search Noiseblocker on froogle.

they are really that quiet. I also have 80mm fans of Noiseblocker that only put out 9 db.

If you want yet quieter 120mm fans, look for Smartcooler...only 15 db...

still cant find noiseblockers, no luck with froogle, those smartcoolers are also nice. Going to ask bigfootcomputer, (my local computer modding shop in toronto) to see if they can find and order. They stock nexus fans and are proud of them, ill give them this info and see if we can get some over here locally in toronto!

leftclicks is my last resort :S

edit.. damnit no shipping outside UK or ireland...

good news, ive finally got the case taken off for painting, and it should be back late tommorow, or thursday at the latest.

the front of the case is sanded, but ive still gotta re-paint it. and also, ive still got no power-switch! (or one thats wired up properly.

ive been told the case is done, but i can't pick it up, as i've gone off in Holiday.

Before i went though, i finished wiring up and sleeving the Vandal Switch....

I'm going to be connecting the LED in the switch upto the HDD light, becuase one of the things that ennoys me alot is the flashing power light when i leave my PC on standby.

About half an hour ago, i fed up with waiting to hear from my Local Powder-Coating Shop

Its turns out, the case was done on Boxing Day, but it was forgotten about. Anyway, it turns out can collect it Tommorow morning.

It ended up being done in Satin Black, with about 35-45% Gloss in it.

Ive also got a good camera (Sony H2 i think :sigh: ), and now a Tripod for better quality picceys.. :D
