Try next week, thats when shops start to get their deliveries in. I was VERY lucky with mine, got it Fri before xmas.
Gamestation in the Metrocentre had a couple in yesterday, although only as part of £300ish bundles with Zelda and a couple of rubbish games like that 4x4 thing.
I had the Gamestation bundle for mine, but it was Any 4 games with the Wii for £300. So I got about £20 RRP give or take.
I've hooked up the Wii to my venerable (but still good) 28inch CRT telly and it looks a million times better than the murky mess it was on either of my mams two Sharp LCD's or my own Dell widescreen monitor. Atleast via composite anyway.
I noticed that too. I had mine on our 32" widescreen CRT and it looked very sharp - controls felt a bit more accurate too. But, then again, the tube works at the right resolution, so I'd expect as much. I'm still going to try picking up the component cables for sale on Amazon though. Some fool decided tomorrow (err... today?) is a bank holiday so I can't cash my paycheck though, and I'm just itching to give it away for an SLR and some other random crap.
Hmm thats not what I want to hear, I want to use it on a Dell 2407WFP... If I can ever get hold of one.
Yeah but my Dell 20incher doesn't come with component inputs, whereas I'm sure that one you mention does. If only mine had components too...
Dad managed to pick one up today without any of us knowing...it was a surprise (late) Christmas present that he's been trying to get for weeks. Tis a great console, most fun I've had in ages and a nice shock coming home to find one sitting under the Christmas tree!!! <A88>
Anyone know how to get pandora (music genome project) to stop refreshing all the time so that I can get some music playing on my wii? For those that don't know, I'm talking about this: http://pandora.com/
I think thats down to the Browser. I'm going to be trying out Weezo tonight though, it acts as a music server, I just need to make it work over LAN only and not over WAN.
Yea, just been looking at the pandora site and its because of the javascript I think... Basically, it reloads the page at every oppertunity so that it can serve new ad's I tried just viewing the source swf, but then you can't log in... bah Next thing to try.... iTunes over the network...
