The stacker832 mod. Gamez convention Leipzig.

Coolermaster Netherlands ask me to mod a stacker832 for the Gamez convention in Leipzig. It’s a great honour for me that CM asks me for that.

    Sponsors Stacker 832 mod.

    The planning.

I try to give the bottom part Real flames

At the inside I try to hide the most cables.

    Specs:

    Maiboard: MSI P35 Platinum
    Memory: OCZ Flex
    PSU: OCZ 1010

First I must clean my modplace and than I start with this case. So the updates will come next week.

Those kinds of flames are hard to get right, but they will look awesome on that case. I look forward to your progress! :D

Thanks for the good luck wishes. I need that because the flames are a really hard job and I try to do it by myself. :worried:

Great paintwork if you can pull it off - have you seen the limited edition blue flame one that Coolermaster and Smooth Creations have just put together which is around $1000

It is VERY, VERY hard, and I would highly recommend hiring a professional airbrusher to do the work for you.

However, real flames have already been done on a Stacker 830/832 before - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119126

    So, yeah. :/

@330td, he's doing it for 24 years now. So when you have no skills after 24 years............. ;)

Knowing you you've might found a good way to create those flames. Anyway, i used this how-to to try it myself:

Might be helpful for your mod :) I was just trying it, but with the wrong paint, and little experience.
I was thinking about modding a stacker 830/832 too, but it will be a different case. Good luck with this one.

It's a bit off topic, but thanks for the link Ferry. I'm searching for all the information I can get about airbrushing.
