Arg, you know that I follow you anywhere, but IMHO you must wright before in our forums: enjoy Italy. I'm joking of course, but compliments again for your fantastic work with that CABE case. About the videos, I have to say you that the audio doesn't work properly. Am I wrong or you want in this way for your international posts? I hope to read you soon ... Happy Modding!

Well King, if we didn't already know what threads were great, we could tell them by you running around, and making completely nonsensical comments in every one.

I'd like to congratulate you for mod of the month title! :)

But then, I saw the videos where you are making those water inlets waterproof by means of silicon - a lots of it indeed.

When trying to make something waterproof a general rule is to mix the least amount of diffrent sealing methods. If you can't get it sealed by just one method, then and only then take a second method to help.

Now you are using three diffrent methods: a silicon, plumbers tape (the white string) and rubber o-rings. I must say that I'm bit sceptic about that silicon + o-ring holding the connection watertight over the time.

The second big no-no is your way of tying the plumbers tape AROUND the o-ring. I could almost bet that it is the place where it leaked...

If done correctly only one of those should be enough. Sufficient amount of plumbers tape should be enough. I work as a mould maker and have to constantly play with making moulds waterproof and we have found that the easiest and most reliable way to seal water fittings etc. is to use liquid sealant (Loctite® 577 and 572).

Mmm, let's explain something that isn't told before...
The o-ring isn't used for the water, but to avid the scratches on the surface of the chromed items :)
Now 4 days have passed, and the system don't spill...
Anyway, I'll take in good care your suggestions, so I've take apart the whole connectors, cleaned, tharashed the oring and used only loctite55. Here in my zone no shop have the loctite 572, so i've used the 55...
But a friend will ship some 572, I must give it a try!
Tnx for your suggestion, dear mikey_d, if in future I'll need a mould may I send you a mail?

Tnx to all the guys around here for the congrats, it's an unexpected victory, I'm a little bit confused...
