There are probably a lot of women on these forums, but they might not be as active due to several reasons. When you look at nature, in particular avians, it is most typically the male of the species that has the colourful plumage that i'll call the Look At Me Effect, (aka LAME) and the male works hard to attract the female, in this human are erroneous, with the women making themselves pretty to attract the male. When i look at male behaviour regarding car and computer modification, then i think LAME. Women like most female species in nature don’t need to be LAME, which might be why so few of us post project logs. roflmao
One problem that I think scares off many females is whilst most males pick a gender neutral username, most female's usernames just scream out "I'M A GRRL", ie I_love_ponies or something similar. Then you get the inevitable rush of sexually frustrated males ensuring that they don't return

Now please, for the love of god, learn to differentiate between individual variation of character, and gender induced similarities. It gets old to hear feminazi bitches constantly trying to pull one over on men for no good reason. Women aren't discriminated against in law, nor in 99% of social situations. Those times when sexual discrimination is present are isolated. In fact, theres probably more sexual discrimination for men. I have hair halfway down my back. Its not ragged or horrible, but it is long. because of that, I will forever be looked down upon in job interviews. Women do not have that problem. Other examples abound.

Not just birds, it's like that with the vast vast majority of animals. And, to an extent, it was with us, but fashions do change and it's women that try and attract a male mate now.
Thats what annoys me. The out and out man haters are easy to avoid and just deal with, but the ones who just make constant little jokes piss me off, because they'll insist to the ends of the earth that they're only joking, then when you point out that they do it CONSTANTLY and at every opportunity, so logically there must be something underneath it, they just get moody.
