Case Mod - In Progress Demonic TJ07 !!

As i said at the start of the thread i bought the case as is allready powder coated and splash anodised, the one i did build myself is in the thread above from last year - it has the blood splat effect you talk about craigbru !

 

That is a killer paint job! That's exactly the effect I'm looking for. Thanks for the linkage!

 

No worries dude - its splash anodising not paint mind ! Might be worth trying to find some anodisers in your area ?

 

Yeah, I meant anodizing... 'Paint' is such an easy word to throw out there. I'm not sure how well anodizing would work with the panels I have. Unfortunately, due to the modding I've had to do on mine, there will be small areas with a body filler or JB weld. I'm not thinking anodizing would take kindly to that.

I do have a guy I work with, who's a pretty decent artist, and he was going to do some experimenting over the weekend. I'm looking forward to see if he's got any decent samples for me tomorrow.

Called in to see Tom on the way down to Cardiff at the weekend at the Chilled Pc headquarters and amongst other things picked up the Hdd cage for this beastie and thought i'd mount it in a different way !



Watercooling 90% installed, i forgot i needed an Optical drive for the project so its delayed the finished article slightly !

 

Love the way you have mounted the raptor Rich this is looking better and better

I was kind of put off the idea of w/cing the two cards because of cost and would prefer one card - thought i'd wait to see what the new releases are like before doing the gpu/gpu's !

Nice build, cool splash effects and nice hardware.
I am a bit skeptical to that reservoir though, I dont like the round thiny.

I really hope you'll do something to the DVD-drive, fancontroller and the reservoir-plate... And the reservoir. Almost forgot to mention
